I recently hired Molly Maids for my 1200 sq ft home, but unfortunately, I was very disappointed with the results. After the cleaners left, I reviewed my home cameras and found numerous areas that were either overlooked or inadequately cleaned.
They missed wiping down the front of the refrigerator, and when I asked them to do it before they left, they used a dirty rag, leaving streaks everywhere. Additionally, they failed to dust the mantel and speakers, clean the baseboards, or wipe down the table and chairs. The floors in the office/playroom were left unmopped, and they didn’t even enter the washer/dryer room to clean.
Several areas in the bathrooms were still dirty, including the sinks, shower glass, mirrors, and counters. Trash cans weren’t wiped down, nor were trash bags replaced, despite them being left out. Key areas like the front of the dishwasher and stove, cabinets, and windowsills were all ignored. They even used a Swiffer-type mop in the kitchen, which wasn’t effective.
Although they came back for a “reclean” after I provided a detailed list which were all basic request and they still failed to address most of the missed spots. Dust was still present on surfaces they claimed were cleaned. Overall, I would not recommend this service. For nearly $300, they provided the bare minimum, and I would not use them again. They also SEVERELY scratched my...
Read moreA lot of times when the ladies come over, they only clean around things. They dont actually pick them up and clean under them. It would be good that if they see dirt whether in a china cabinet of something that is closed, that they could use that little duster and clean it. Several times I have had to ask the ladies to clean my base boards and window seals that are on the inside of the house. Most times I will get a crew that you can tell works in excellence. but there are those times I come home and I can tell whoever did a quick half hearted job. I know we dont live in a perfect world but it would be good if every time someone comes to clean, they would come with the thought of doing the best job they can do. I have been with Molly Maids for a while. I lived in a very big and nice house in a very nice part of town at one point and pretty much never really had too much of an issue with the cleaning. But I have had to down size and the house is not a new house. I can just tell the difference in cleaning when it comes to houses that are not "new and in a certain part of town." Just think that every house is someones home. And if they are willing to pay the money to get it cleaned, regardless of what kind of home, the job should be done...
Read moreThey did a really good job in areas that were much cleaner. I don't think they touch the counters in the kitchen at all. And they didn't totally wipe down my entertainment center either. So that was a little frustrating I having to go back after they were done to finish what they were supposed to do. They started in the master bedroom and then they did the other two bedrooms and the bathrooms. they spent the least amount of time on the dirtiest place in the house and that's the kitchen living and dining room. Also they didn't even tell me they were leaving we were here they didn't say anything to us they just disappeared.
They do offer a reclean as long as you tell them within 24 hours. It was too late in my case I had to get it done right then and there so I did it myself. I called the woman on the phone today 4 days later and that's their policy they won't come and re-clean your house unless you tell them within the first 24 hours. They also do not offer refunds so if you are unsatisfied you had better call them! The woman was very professional her name was Bea. She did offer me a 10% discount on my move out clean so I'm...
