GameStop, one of the best places created to really get into the gaming world. I decided to get the old version of Nintendo Wii, I chose this store because it had a wider variety of Nintendo Wiis. When I entered this store one of the employees was with another family but kindly asked me what I was looking for. He helped me pick out what I needed but when two other people entered his store, he stopped engaging with me and helped the other people instead. I was okay with him helping the other guys with their gaming needs, However, I got there at one thirty in the afternoon I did not expect to have to wait an hour just to get what I needed. All because he was very good at explaining things he took too much time to check out the other guys that came after me. Which I did not mind but when he made the comment like his (meaning my check out will take longer) to the other customers I was like in my head saying are you serious. Him taking that long and saying that about me made the decision easier about getting the Nintendo. So, I quickly changed my mind and did not get the game. I also returned the games that I purchased to him and in the time that I checked out he made the comment. "Yeah, you made a smarter decision financially wise" At that moment I was glad that I did spend the money on a game that I did not need. I should of never came to this store and wasted my time. I mean come on if you are really going to work in customer service and help the store out do not act like that towards anyone. like making comments about financial and how fast others check outs will be. To top it off, he had poor management on timing of getting people checked out. To make it clear, there was only me and two other customers there so it should have never taken that long for me to get out of the store. In conclusion, when you are in customer service you service industry, you should keep track of your time and keep comments about other people in your store to yourself. It is despicable that he even did that, remember this, treat people with kindness and move quickly in a professional way and you shall get rewards in your career...

One of my sons bought a game for my birthday and gave it to me the same day as purchase. The title was appealing and the game was described in a way that it appeared to a RPG, which my disability in his hands can negotiate usually. The game turned out to be one where progress was driven by arcade dexterity and therefore unplayable for me. Within 24 hours we tried to return the game with the receipt. We were offered a trade in of about half tbe game's purchase price, no refund for the additional warranty and no rationale for having the receipt.
We called the corporate office and after going through the story was told that they would give the full refund. The customer service person got my phone # and email and receipt information and told me that it would take about 48 hours to process and they would notify me when I could return it.
A week passed and I heard nothing. So I called the corporate office and was told that they didnt dispute my story, but they wouldn't give a full refund. I asked for thevsupervisor and he told me that would present the case to the district manager and I would be contacted within a couple days. Three weeks later and full month since we started this process and i never heard from the district manager or from the corporate office to follow up. The game remains in the bag with the receipt and is still a game I CANNOT PLAY.
In my decades of management and customer interaction, I cannot think of a time when I have seen so little commitment to customer setvice or such an absence of professionalism.
