I had the most serendipitous and heart-warming experience at Esqueleto Mill Valley! Not only is the store beautiful and filled with good vibes, the women managers/employees I met, Marjorie and Mara, are incredible humans who love their work and are dedicated to making the shop a safe and inclusive space. I was having a rough and emotional day, and really needed a pick me up. Marjorie and Mara helped me pick out the perfect ring (out of three options because I'm indecisive; how do you choose just ONE out of so many amazing artists' work???) — a "flying" winged diamond by Anthony Lent that I now carry with me as a comforting pinky totem.

Additionally, we connected deeply and talked for three hours, just getting to know each other and uplift each other through sharing our experiences! They turned my horrible day into a cherished memory and I am so touched by the warmth, love, kindness, and expansive energy that fills the shop. I've always thought of jewelry as a spiritual exchange of artists' love and unique creative philosophies. Esqueleto embodies respect, appreciation, and care for all the independent jewelers they carry. They also offer some of the most unique curated pieces among Bay Area shops I visited, and I've discovered many jewelers' work (eg. Shane Yamane, Lauren Wolf, Maiden Voyage) I feel so honored to support and carry. ❤️

For years I have driven to Oakland to go to the original Esqueleto shop, so I was DELIGHTED when they opened in Mill Valley, my hometown! The store is gorgeous, and the jewelry is perfect. It’s not jewelry that is made to look fancy or gaudy — it is art that you can wear. The women who work in the shop are amazing and helpful. I got a bracelet there, and then on our anniversary, my husband wandered in, and they steered him to a second bracelet by the same artist. I never take them off — as promised, they are super comfortable, as well as beautiful.

On top of the jewelry, they carry beautiful accessories for the home. So far I have only bought one of the wonderful scented candles, but I know the store will be a go-to for housewarming and hosting gifts, as well as treats for my own house. It’s beautiful, it smells good, and the sales staff is friendly...

I love this place so much. The people are wonderful and really care both about the customers, the experience, and the artists they carry. In a time when we are inundated with jewelry and "things" everywhere, this is a place that cares deeply about supporting artists who make high quality, unique pieces you will have for a lifetime. There are always new items, the team listens to me and has definitely learned my taste to help me make smart decisions. I have purchased several pieces -- earrings, rings, and bracelets - both vintage and new. They are all now my go-to everyday pieces and I get compliments allll the time. I jokingly asked the manager Marjorie if she is going to start selling fingers because I am running out of space. This place is a beautiful addition...
