Elizabeth knows what she's doing. I started using her when I needed several pairs of pants and a couple skirts taken in. I can sew. I've been sewing since I was a kid, but I HATE doing alterations. Elizabeth took everything in, moved belt loops, adjusted fold-over waistbands and they ALL looked incredible. I can't even tell where she did the seam adjustments! She's very, very good. She has a tiny dressing room where you can change so she can pin up your garment there. The turn-around time on most alterations is 5-7 days. At the time I first used her, alterations on slacks were about $15 for side seams and hems combined....

I dropped off 3 pairs of curtains to be altered here. Elizabeth didn't even take my phone number down. What if there was an issue? They expect everyone to keep that tiny pick up slip they give? I asked approximately how much when I dropped them off. I was told $30. When I picked them up, they were $60!! They also don't accept credit cards, welcome to the 21st century! C'mon. She was not friendly at all either. I will never go here again. Totally bad vibes. They also kept the packaging the curtains were in. White curtains, and not so much as offered a bag on...

Elizabeth did my wedding dress as well as hemmed numerous occasion gowns for me this year. The dress alterations were perfect for my wedding, and fit like a glove. She did not remove any elements of the dress while allowing it to accentuate my figure. Elizabeth is so kind and friendly, I appreciate her calm demeanor and she always is smiling. She also did my husbands suit jacket to make it more slim fitting, and was accommodating in a short timeframe.Will be coming here for all my tailoring...
