I went wedding dress shopping with my best friend (the bride) and the women working in this shop were incredibly kind and helpful! They reached out to my friend via Facebook after she commented on a post about not being able to find a dress from a certain designer. They let her know that they had ordered her specific dress and when they would have it in stock. She made the appointment, and we went to have her try it on. We were given a walkthrough of the shop when we arrived and were asked to please remove our shoes before walking into the area where they kept the wedding gowns, which we didn't mind at all and understood the extra precaution. Wanda picked out her gown, and my friend tried it on. It was perfect! It was definitely a "this is it" moment. Wanda clipped and pinned the dress to make it fit a bit better. We tried a few veils, but my friend didn't love the look of any of them. Wanda suggested a beaded clip instead and picked out a gorgeous one that fit her perfectly. The ladies were so kind and answered any questions we had. They also helped me find a bridesmaids dress that I'll most likely purchase the next time we're there. Wanda especially made the experience really wonderful. My friend ended up purchasing the dress and the hair clip, both of which were much cheaper than we expected. I got my wedding dress at Special Moments and it was my dream dress. The whole experience was amazing from start to finish. They’re so helpful there when trying on dresses and finding what you like. They are also amazing at getting you in for fittings. Alterations can also happen in house, which is super easy. My alterations were perfect and I was able to have my dress steamed before pick up. Not only that, we got all of the tux rentals from here as well. So many options to pick from and they will measure you and order it for you. Pick up is easy and so is drop off. My son got a gray suit there for his prom. I didn't accompany him on this trip. When he put the pants on, I immediately noticed the pants were too long. The back of the legs were dragging on the ground. The front seams are supposed to just break the line with shoes on. His pants legs were lying on the shoe tops. They were all buckled at the bottom and gave him a sloppy look. He even asked if he should roll them up. They should have measured him and given the correct length for his prom.
