CVS — Local services in Upper Paxton Township

First I'd like to start by saying I used to use Rite Aids Pharmacy which I had loved before they had to close up . They were the best!! But anyways so after that I had to switch to this Pharmacy because it was the next closest place and more convenient for me to get my everyday medicines that I need. The first several times I've came here not all but some of the staff looked very incompetent when dealing with ppls scripts. Hope nobody never gets the wrong drugs and on another note their rude, definitely no customer skills! Now I get my prescriptions shipped through another pharmacy. I'm not sure of her name because I was just to busy trying to finish checking out to notice to whether she had a name tag or not but she's the older lady, long hair and usually down at the other end filling scrips is the one that was rude to me and talking down to me like I don't know how to check out. That check out I was had a problem and meanwhile when I went to pay I used my card , the reader wasn't working . She then told me to do this and that and question me alot like I was stupid as if I didn't know what I was doing. She then told me that my card was not good and asked if I had another one . I told her its good but whatever and I also tried to tell her that it was the cardreader but no what do I know. So I try another card and the card reader saids the same thing , it kept saying " WELCOME " nothing else. You would think she would bring herself out around the counter to take a look to see what I was trying to tell her, NO! So needless to say a nice gentleman behind me help pay my co-pay just so I can get outta there. I'm so glad I don't have to come here on a regular basis anymore. They need to hire friendly people l!! Best, best pharmacists and assistants, historically, in the area. CVS changed some kooky policies so these seem over-worked, poor people and we're LUCKY they are still there! CVS, listen up! Do not lose your terrific staff. They are legendary around here! Stop hiring people you have no intention of training properly!

Store staff has been amazing here for 20 years, sales are wonderful. Who doesn't love 75% off, when those signs go up? CVS drug prices are getting astronomical, however, so maybe comparison shop AND they stopped working with a few insurance companies. Uncool. We count on our long-term pharmacists and staff and form relationships of trust.

Barbara was my counter associate. She was a gem! We had a brief conversation about my cats and she shared her personal experience about a donation to the less fortunate. I appreciated more than just "small talk" that usually happens at the checkout counter. She deserves a gold star!!
