I posted a rave review of this place, but it appears the Internet wasn't working well enough for it to go through.

The kids and I had a great time here.

We came with Grandpa and Grandlilly as a sort of tradition.

The kids request this place every visit.

We had some issues with the games, which the staff immediately rectified.

Jeff was one of the staff members who made our experience the most positive and memorable. He clearly loves his job. He did some magic tricks for the kids and I. He was very entertaining. I asked him a question in a British accent and instead of looking at me like I was a little weirdo, he responded in a British accent of his own.

People like Jeff (but also and especially and more specifically Jeff himself) are what makes the difference between a mediocre experience and a fantastic one.

Way to go Captain's Quarters. We'll see you next time...

This one stop shop for ice cream, mini golf, tickets arcade, and go-karts was a surprising delight. The go-karts are battery powered and the track is short. Regardless, it was still fun. The staff was friendly and helpful and made it a good time. The arcade was heavily weighted towards ticket and prize winning. Some of the video games were ok, but nothing awesome. I’m going to say the ideal age range for the arcade is 8-10. If you really like winning tickets and arcade prizes, this is your spot. The ticket prize selection was very good and varied.

The day was made for us when one of the staff members joined me on a space invaders run and we got a top-ten high score! It really made our day and we had smiles all around.

I’m definitely going back for mini-golf. The course...

Captain’s Quarters is a fantastic spot for some family-friendly fun. The arcade is top-notch—extremely clean, with a wide variety of games that kept everyone entertained for hours. The go-karts were a highlight; they’re electric, in excellent condition, and the track is beautiful. However, the racing experience was a bit of a letdown because the person controlling the race limited our ability to pass each other, and the speed was kept low for most of the race. That said, the mini-golf course was fantastic—well-maintained and fun for all ages. To top it all off, the ice cream was delicious, making for a perfect treat after a round of mini-golf or an arcade session. Overall, it was a great experience, and I highly recommend checking it out if you’re...
