Capitol Galst Food Mart — Local services in Milwaukee

I bought meat and it was rotten by the next day when I was ready to cook it , I could smell it through the packaging.. Took it back and had to argue with management for 30min about how "fresh " their meat is as if I lied .. With recipe and unopened rotten meat in hand they tried to deny me a refund, saying "it's posted that we don't give refunds " as if they know they are selling rotten food ! Another customer had to jump in and tell management they shouldn't be arguing and being loud with the customer holding rotten meat in their hand bought the day before because I could easily just report them to the city..Then he turned to yell at the other customers (lady) for speaking up; In our neighborhood selling rotten meat to our families like...

Personally I don't care for this store at all. I mean the prices they charge and the lack of variety this store has. It's ridiculous for me. I mean $5.99 for a small container of cooking oil is ridiculously high. I mean in a pinch I'd come here if I need something bad enough,if the Family Dollar isn't open,or doesn't have what I'm looking for. People claim there's no money to be made in the Black community. That's a lie because if that were true,there would be NO foreign owned stores in the Black community. Yet there's a ton. I'm not anti foreigner at all let me say that. Just simply pointing...

Why does it smell like there's a nasty moldy mop hiding in this store? I can't by meat at a store that smells like this. And where are the groceries why are there so many bare shelves? I'd give a negative one stars (-1*) but it won't let me. I'm gonna need these stores in the inner city to provide the same cleaniness and level of quality food as they would if they were in Menomonee Falls, Franklin, Brown Deer etc... Don't cut corners just because your in the inner city people deserve...
