Love that it is Veteran owned. It's great that I don't have to drive 2 hrs to Dallas and pay $50 for 30 minutes. While here, there VR is only $30 for an hour. They also got PS4, Xbox, and retro arcade games for $15 an hour. Also they have a bunch of board games which is $5 for the whole family and you get to play with all the board games as long as you want. Definitely much cheaper than taking my kids to an arcade while they still get to experience that same fun. They even got corn hole, football tables, and air hockey which is complementary which is cool cause you don't have to spend money just to check the place out. They do birthday parties as well. Took my boy there for his bday and he had a blast. They even do activities scheduled every week. Dungeons and Dragons on Tuesday for the community, Warhammer Wednesdays, Thursdays they have a school club for the kids and are still having it held there even while school is out for the summer. Love the thought of that, as the youngins can have a place just to hang out and have fun. Especially since there isn't a whole lot of entertainment type places in smaller towns. Fridays they have Magic the Gathering tournaments and Saturdays they do Flesh and Blood tournaments. They sell MTG, Pokemon, Flesh and Blood, and Yu-Gi-Oh cards, dice, Warhammer, DND type of things. UPDATED REVIEW

The Game Store did end up calling me a few days (8/26) after my original review. Their apology for the cancellation felt 100% sincere. I was going to update my review for that alone. They took my comments to heart and contacted people. Or they might have had a lot of unfortunate cancels and I just posted a review before they got to me.

Then today (9/9) they called me again to let me know they had gotten more stock of the item to see if I was still interested in purchasing it. This is where they went above and beyond. Most stores of any kind would get a bad review, try to follow up and apologize or resolve the issue. I've never had someone come back weeks after to check on me and try to help with my purchase even more.

To be fair, I wish I could put a 4.5, just because of the time between order expected and contact, but with the last contact they don't deserve a 4, so 5 it is. Thank you for helping a disappointed customer and making me a fan.

Placed a preorder for an item 7/30, received an automated email 8/23 that the item was cancelled and it would take 9-14 days to get my refund. This is for an item that released 8/9. No other communication. This is very poor on the store. Don't take money for pre orders that you can't fill.
