Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Mineola

I posted a review months ago with three stars and they're only getting three stars on this visit as well.

First of all, they discontinued the asian sweet chili boneless wings. They had already discontinued the parmesan garlic flavor but now they don't have them at all. The wings have been 'replaced' with sauced jumbo popcorn chicken. Only bbq or buffalo flavor. We ordered plain jumbo popcorn chicken and used our own sauce from home.

Second, food is overpriced. We also got small portions on the tots and not enough sauce packs for the other chicken and mozzarella sticks.

Third, they missed one of the items we ordered. I guess I may have messed them up when I placed a second order right after the first one. But they could have just taken a couple of extra seconds to look over our order before bringing it out to us.

The food was good otherwise and our carhop was friendly...at least up until she had to return to give us the forgotten item. She had a little attitude. Not sure what that...

I got jr. chili cheese wrap and a lg water with lemon I got my order no problem they were nice and fast but this part is just so wild to me I left the sonic going back and I’m eating it while I’m drive home and I got about a mile and a half down the road and noticed something weird in my chili cheese wrap so I stop on the side of the road and looked closer and there was a cricket in my wrap so I turn back around and call for a manager the manager came out I showed her my wrap and she was like oh no I’m so sorry about that we have a lot of crickets in there I’ll go let the kitchen know and they made a new 1 but they also refunded my whole order so I was like ok but when I got the new wrap I didn’t even want to eat it my thing is also who did you not see...

I have a family of five it cost us $41 for Burgers and Fries you kind of expect for that price a decent burger and fries this is not what we got👉 disgusting Burgers three quarters cook soggy fries👉 the fries were disappointing but the burger change what I think about Sonic I'm going to have very hard time coming back seriously I can cook better at home with frozen burgers because that's what these Burgers tasted like frozen patties that wasn't thawed correctly and was toughest fast food Burger I've ever eaten or sink my teeth in and that was besides getting past the taste of frozen meat:-( nasty👉...
