I really can't say enough good things about this place. Their selection is impeccable and ever-changing. Each weekend they are open it's like an entirely new store! I've made many purchases: a sculpture, a vintage painting, a variety of woven swedish textiles (amazing textiles always btw), danish candlesticks, and even a large teak 9 drawer dresser. They delivered the dresser at no-charge, and even carried up my staircase to its new home on the second story. These people are so kind, and you can tell they put a lot of heart into their shop. Hands-down my favorite vintage shop in Minneapolis. Susan and Chris have impeccable taste and always fill the shop with beautiful and affordable pieces for your home. I’ve gotten many gifts for friends here too! From planters to Danish candlestick holders to paint by numbers and sofas—something for everyone! The darling floral chairs in my shop are from Southside and I get so many compliments on them! I’ve known Susan for over a decade and she goes above and beyond for her customers! I have been visiting Southside for only a few years.
