Unprofessional *I want to be clear, this review is solely about the professionalism of the company and not about the food quality. Reached out about catering an open house party at our home, which all details were included on the request form that is on the website. I received an initial email with prices stating that they had our date available and how to move forward. After looking at everything and eager to book, we responded right away stating that we would like to pay the deposit fee to hold our date. The next email we were asked, "I need to make sure this is an open house grad party?" We found it odd but responded as such, "Its not a grad party but its an open house celebration with our family and friends." The following days, nothing in response, I tried calling directly (as it says to text/call Anna on the website) left messages as well as sent follow up emails asking if there was further clarification I could provide. No response. If you didn't have the date, respond saying the date wasn't available, if you didn't want to take the party, lie and say you don't have the date. I find it very unprofessional for a company to completely ghost people with zero explanation. I initially reached out because we knew of this place when we lived in Robbinsdale and we were excited to support a small business. We have since found a another small...
Read moreThe CRM R&D Boston Scientific Admins were planning our annual summer picnic for about 500 people. After we chose a theme, we started reviewing caterers. I found Pickles Café & Catering, with very good ratings on other sites. I added them to our list of restaurants to do a tasting with as a part of our selection. We were blown away with the quality, the taste and customer service at our tasting. At our tasting we tried Mama’s Donato’s Marinara sauce. This is nirvana with meatballs and bread. They also did a Mexican street taco with very nice fresh flavors and a vegetable Korma that was very well prepared. We hired them as our Italian caterers for the event with them crossing over into the other nationalities that we were serving that day. Another plus to hiring them is the from scratch woodfire pizzas. OMG. Our people were so surprised to see fresh made pizza onsite and how fresh it tasted. After our event was over, we had several people come and tell us how much they enjoyed the good Italian food. One person who was been to Italy told me, he could have sworn he was back there when he...
Read moreI usually don't leave any reviews and like to support local businesses but I would advise to avoid this place if you can. A little background, our company used them for catering an event. The food was cold and was subpar. After the event I came to make the final payment for the invoice and found how disgusting, smally, and unorganized this place is. If a business is ran this way imagine how they make your food. I'm sure there's some health code and food handling concerns. Hope they get it together and make the necessary corrections.
Anna will make the an excuse that this is a small family owned business but this has nothing to do with being clean especially when you're in the food industry. No one is trying to market cleaning for them and charging a service fee. And the reason why reviews do not leave specific events and company name is because they want to remain anonymous. Instead of owning up their own mess and clean up by making corrections they just want to make excuses and blame it on...
