Sunset Lakes Community Center — Local services in Miramar

The staff was very helpful. The weight room was decent, but on the other hand the restrooms were extremely unsanitary. There was visible mold on the walls, soap residue, and even human hair left behind. While the outside of the facility looks impressive, the interior tells a very different story. Considering this center is located in such a beautiful area of Weston, it’s disappointing to see the condition of the inside. The city really needs to step up and renovate this facility. After several years participating in this league with both my kids, a situation comes up and I get no response from the head of the league. This league allows their coaches to make verbal threats and curse parents out. I strongly encourage parents not to sign your kids up in the Miramar PAL league. They take your money without hesitation, allow the coaches not to play your child if they are not on the same playing level as the other kids, and ignore or push concerns...
