China One Miramar Location — Restaurant in Miramar

I have been buying and supporting this restaurant for over a decade, I visited a few weeks ago to pick up my food and I don't know what else to call this behavior other than racist. I went in to pickup my order, the chimes on the door as it opened were vocal as usual, no one came out, you can see the kitchen as you enter, I waited and waited, I opened the door again to alert them that someone is there, a girl poked her head out and looked but no one came out. I waited another 4-5 minutes, nothing, I knocked on the counter to let them know I was since it was apparent to them that I was not. Still, nothing. I waited and waited, until finally, two ladies walked in, they were white, a gentleman walked out, walked passed me and asked the causation women if they needed help. I said excuse me, are you ignoring me? He said "your food is not ready yet" and dismissed me. I ordered my food 37 minutes before picking it up, they told me it would be ready in 15-20 minutes. How did he know what I had ordered? I will NEVER support this restaurant again, and you would think that in this day and age, people wouldn't be...

To be honest, I could not point out Burma to you on a map (geography not my strong suit), but wherever it is, I'm glad it is, because China One Miramar cuisine is delicious.

China One Miramar food tastes home made with love--like something someone's grandma would make for a family party--and the restaurant itself is decorated similarly. It's nothing fancy, but that's the beauty of it: it's simple and delicious. Everything is served family style, and some of my favorite dishes are the pineapple fried rice, the mongolian beef, the beef curry, and any spicy eggplant dish. I've honestly never had anything I didn't like here!

Their service is usually spot-on, and they have a small selection of Asian beers (I would not recommend getting wine there, although they do have a wine list). The place can get busy on weekend nights, so I would try and make a reservation, especially if you're going with a large party. Take out is always a great option as well :) Perhaps my only gripe is that some of their dishes are a little oily, but that's true of any...

The absolute worst! I ordered over a year ago and the man that took my order was just plain rude. But I said whatever and place my order, keep in mind that I'm only like 18 my mom and dad came home and brought dinner so I cancelled my $60 order. The guy starts yelling at me all upset and I apologize. My dad gets on the phone and start yelling at the guy saying he has no right to talk to his daughter that way. So this guy blocks me from China One. So now to order from China One because I love their food I have to go to the one on Sheridan because I refuse to go to the one on Miramar because they will no longer deliver to my phone number I have to go out of my way to get my food.
