TeraLee's Formals — Local services in Mishawaka

I took my daughter to Tera Lee’s for the first time in the summer of 2022. Needless to say, we have been back to purchase gowns for prom, pageant and cocktail parties. First and foremost, the customer service is unbeatable. EVERY staff member we have ever encountered has been friendly and went ABOVE and BEYOND our expectations! We let the staff know the style, color, length and BUDGET of the dresses we were looking for and every visit, we have a minimum of 20 gowns pulled for a variety and each time we go, it’s extremely difficult to narrow it down to just one! We love the selection THAT much! The professionalism at Tera Lee’s raises the bar and other stores/shops should take notes!

Unfortunately, we decided to visit another well-known store in the area and their employees literally made my daughter (who has disabilities) cry, feel uncomfortable about her body and were caught talking negatively about my daughter not once, but twice BY ME! I vowed to never go there again!

I’m SO thankful to know my daughter would NEVER have THAT experience at Tera Lee’s! She puts her customers wants, needs and positive experiences ABOVE making a “buck”!

I wasn't sure how to say what I feel like cant even begin to paint an appropriate picture of how fantastic this place is. First we went and my daughters were treated so well by ensuring appropriate sizes instead of falsely leading them to incorrect sizes. They were clear on their prices and where we could find the different dresses for each size and price. Fantastic experience there. Then came the sad part, the designer at no fault of Tera Lee's sent the wrong dress. It devastated my daughter, because as you know ow it takes a ton of changes to find that perfect dress and after spending hours to discover there was an error is gut wrenching. But Tera Lee's not only went above and beyond, they went an extra mile beyond that to ensure their client was treated well and loved on through the whole process. It took a couple more hours of their time but she left feeling like royalty and had the perfect dress. Thank you Tera Lee's for doing what you didnt need to to correct an error that wasn't yours to ensure a girl still felt like a princess for prom. 💜 We won't shop...

The best of the best not just for the sheer amount of dresses, but the customer service is top tier. We were referred here 10 years ago when my oldest needed her first dress in middle school and we still buy my youngest daughter's dresses here, as recently as this week for homecoming. Hugeeeeee selection, organized by size, and then by price, so easy to shop and stay in your budget. I've seen dresses from older seasons on clearance for 50$, all the way up to 500$ with everything in between. You won't be finding just 1 or 2 things to take to the dressing room here. Good luck finding less than 15 dresses you can't choose between because you love them all! I can't say enough about Tera the owner and her level of customer service.
