This Target allows scammers to patrol their store and target women who are alone. If a woman approaches you with her baby and asks you to buy formula or diapers, do not do it, it is a scam. My wife was in this location today doing her shopping when a woman with her baby approached her and begged her to buy her stuff for the baby as she had no money. The lady would not take no for an answer and my wife agreed to purchase some items for her. My wife was extremely uncomfortable with the whole thing and was hoping that someone from the target team would have intervened. I went back to the store to speak to the Manager and they were about as helpful as concrete parachute. The manager was actually the person who helped checked them out. In fact, they, along with the AP manager, told my wife and I that they KNEW the woman had been in the store, had been running the scam for a few days, and still did nothing to stop it. The manager offered the most wonderful advice of "you can say no". Wow, thank you! Why didn't I think of that Nancy Reagan? Happy holidays
UPDATE: My wife had been to the target a week prior to the above incident and bought a Nordstrom gift card for her sisters birthday. Sister calls us just now and lets us know that there is $0.00 on the card. I spoke with a manager at target and she informed me that there is nothing Target can do as the money was already spent by someone who most likely tampered with the card prior to it being purchased. This target is a breeding ground for scams and fraud and management refuses to do anything to combat it. The cherry on top is that they will just blame you and force the work to get your hard earned money...
Read moreArrived at the snack bar and waited a long time to be acknowledged as several associates were in the back laughing and carrying on. Eventually someone came out and took my order. They were out of several items so I ordered two that they had and was advised it would be about ten min wait. After waiting a while, a Hispanic female came up and ordered an identical item that I had order and she was told it would be about ten min wait. Subsequently when the cashier who was also a Hispanic female emerged, the lady who ordered well after me was served first and given her food, and I was served after, despite having ordered well before the other customer. On 12/12 i stopped in here again thinking todays visit might be better, nope. No pizza ready so stopped and placed an order for two and paid, and was told ten minutes wait. then went to the restroom and came back and waited at the counter for them to be ready. To my surprise when the pizzas came out, they were handed to people who were now in line to order and haven’t even ordered yet. Had to wait another two ten min for them to make more additionally, they put cheese in while they knew I was waiting for pepperoni so had to wait for the cheese to finish and then the pepperoni to come out.. Wasting most of my...
Read moreI have had AWFUL experiences here, but also some very good ones here, too. I wanted to leave a good review for Ryan, who has worked the p.m. shift. He's helped me out so much. Also, Aaron works really well when patience is needed. He was very calm when I was upset, and I felt taken care of by him. There have been a couple of incidents where I did feel like the company had treated me unfairly compared to the other guests. I feel targeted at almost every place I go. But not the one in Rancho Santa Margarita, it's worth the drive. I don't like the managers at this store; they are very rude. condensing and deminimizing. Making it seem like I'm asking for too much and blowing this way out of proportion. Which I might be, but good customer service skills handle it with care and professionalism. Also, there are a lot of faces being made when they can't say what they want to say. It's truly disrespectful. Target corporate is just as awful an experience. You're on hold most of the call, and I don't see why they can't just help you out. I feel like I have to grovel to get any attention from them or my point across. AND NOTHING GETS RESOLVED THE longer the time passes the less...
