AVOID THIS BUSINESS !!!!! Ordered a PlayStation 5 Digital from this company on 8/12/2022 , i viewed their processing times and shipment after I ordered but I contacted store directly to see if I could have it shipped sooner an associate spoke with supervisor who said that it could be shipped on 8/15/2022, I was fine with this as I was to be heading out on vacation 8/17/2022 and they were located in Texas so I wouldn't need to cancel. Contacted them 8/15/2022 and an associate stated that it couldn't be shipped on 8/15 but will be shipped on 8/16. I asked for a tracking number to confirm this and associate stated that they haven't received one from UPS but that the supervisor told him it will arrive by 8/18/2022. 8/18/2022 passed and still nothing , I got in touch with store again after numerous calls on 8/20/2022 and was told it shipped via Fed ex but no tracking number was provided til later that evening ! So it went from Ups has package to Fed ex . On 8/23/2022 I check tracking and it says delivered with a picture that is not my residence. I contacted Simpletronics via phone and email and Mr. Rodiguez the owner of Simpletronics acknowledged that this picture was indeed not my house . We contacted Fed ex who then opened a tracer investigation and confirmed to Simpletronics and myself that the package was deemed lost or misdelivered and on 8/24/2022 advised Mr Rodriguez to reship or refund me and file a claim with Fed Ex for reimbursement . Seven days passed and on 8/31/2022 Mr Rodriguez blatantly tried to tell me that Fed Ex concluded that the claim was denied as Fed ex pin pointed the location of the package to my house, i outsmarted him by telling him to hold for one second and called Fed Ex in conference call and they stated that Mr. Rodriguez statement was false as he had never filed a claim and that they will walk him through steps to file online on the phone at that moment . Due to the value of the PlayStation 5 ($927) total cost spent I asked why signature confirmation was not placed on package , Mr Rodriguez stated that his warehouse messed up and it should have had signature confirmation ! On 9/1/2022 again via phone conference with Mr.Rodriguez and Fed Ex stated that although representatives stated via recorded calls the lost/misdelivered package was lost the fact that Simpletronics didnât apply signature confirmation to the package , that gives Fed ex release on liability even if misdelivered or lost ! I ask him to cancel my order he continues telling me that the order was canceled and that I wouldn't get anything confirming that until Tuesday. I told him I'm getting my lawyer involved and also recorded it's conversation. He says "remove the bad review and I'll cancel it" my lawyer will have fun with this pos business.
Was told my order would ship out Friday and that I would have a tracking number Friday. It's now Saturday. Ever since I placed the order communication through there website has been nonexistent. Now they don't pick up the phones. Very unprofessional. My order is $1,099 and I've heard nothing on any progress of my order. Zero stars if I could. Placed an order with them through a 3rd party. Didn't hear from them for days, had to call them to check on the order. The person who answered the phone said they need a copy of my ID before they can ship my order off. When asked why they need a copy of my ID all I got was a "because management said they need it." Requested that they cancel the order cause I wasn't comfortable with that request, called the 3rd party and told them that I canceled the order. That was almost a month ago and they are still trying to charge me for an order I didn't receive because this company won't confirm that I canceled the order.
