Super trash. Uses a (VRS) voice recording system to answer the phone unlike other offices in the area, and make it really difficult through navigating through the menu to speak to a live person. Where most VRS use the numeral 0 to speak to an operator they make it extremely difficult, which I believe to be intentional to discourage you from calling in so they won’t have to address any of your needs. As public servants they are hard to get in contact with, take 1 hr (and 15 min lunch breaks), conveniently closed the day before and after every holiday whilst other businesses may just close early, which is not an indictment on them, but as hard working citizens and taxpayers I don’t understand why we are obligated to pay for a service that is unavailable to us half as much as any other public service we do business with is. Image your lights going out during a thunderstorm. No matter the entity, there is personnel on-call to come out in the midst of a disaster because we pay, but in the same breath we can say we pay for government services through various taxes and get limited availability. The average Texas County Clerk gets paid $34,518/yr while the average Texan gets paid $29,525/yr. While working less hours, they get paid more and never available. This review may very well be deleted for exposing the facts, but as a proud Texan, I can honestly say this is an injustice and disservice to the hardworking people of Texas due to their inaccessability. Read moreChecked online to see what time they close and it shows 5pm. I get there at 4:10pm to only be told by a security officer that they are closed and that they close at 4pm. So I asked him if I could speak with a supervisor and he told me to go to window 8. I told her that online it says that the annex close at 5pm and she told me “Sir we been closing at 4pm for a long time now”. I explained to her that I called and tried to speak to someone so that I could find out what are the times of operation and just was waiting with the automated voice for 20 mins and no one never picked up. I drove there thinking that I’m on time because it says 5pm. In the lobby it’s over 20 people waiting but they tell me that they are closed. I would not be going back here again. Just bad business and something seems fishy that it shows 5pm but she says they close at 4pm. If you close at 4pm how is it 20 people in the lobby waiting for their number to be called.
