We had THE BEST TIME shopping at The Vault for my daughter’s Senior Prom dress. We utilize the option for an after hours appointment and it was the best. The ladies (Emily, Eva and Brooke) were attentive the entirety of our stay. They listened to what my daughter was saying kindly offered suggestions, dresses to try and endless alternatives until we found the perfect dress. We weren’t rushed or made to feel uncomfortable… they treated us as though they enjoyed having us there and genuinely wanted to be a part of the process. We’re from a larger town and randomly came across this shop (we were in town for a soccer tournament) and had low expectations. What could a small shop in Mitchell, SD possibly have to offer??? We had NO IDEA what a gem of a place we’d stumbled upon. If you’re looking for a formal dress, the inventory is insane. If you’re looking for baby gear or Jellycat collectors, if you like lululemon or other athleisure gear, they have it all. Super impressed and am now looking for reasons to go back to...

My mother, sister and I went there looking for wedding ideas. As we walked in there were 3 people at the counter talking, one of which welcomed us to the store. We broused the clothing and other things items before noticing the wedding dress/prom dress section. There was a note on the door that said we were welcome to look but to ask an associate to remove the dress from the rack. We no more then started to look and an employee came and asked if we needed help. My mother started to ask about the wedding dresses and appointments. The employee was rude and kept walking away while we were asking questions. We also asked if it cost anything to book an appointment because some places do charge. She said no and walked away, again! As we were walking out, the same 3 people at the counter were making fun of the questions we had asked and said that my sister has an attitude problem. Ordered online, the package wasn’t delivered (no fault of theirs, the post offices fault) it got sent back and lost in the mail (again the post office) they were incredibly helpful kind and responsive; they answered all of my emails they made sure i got my package they were quick and efficient they were apologetic, genuinely could not speak more highly about a company.
