
First, I am leaving this review after only having my install for 11 days. I will admit that I was 5 minutes late to my 8 am appointment on 28 Sep (I live an hour away), due to an unforeseen detour. I contacted Lexus to inquire if the 5 minutes was a problem, which she said it wasn’t. I arrived at 8:05 am and she arrived at 8:28 am. There was no apology for being late on her behalf. I waited an additional 15 minutes for her to clean the salon (just sweep; nothing major). She inquired if I needed my hair washed, despite her site indicating closure sew-in services included a wash and dry. After washing my hair, she stopped service for an additional 20 minutes to leave the salon and purchase a drink, then handled an issue that occurred at the drink location instead of resuming my hair when she returned. By this time it is approximately 9:36 am, therefore I communicated that I had a virtual interview at 11 am and needed to be done by 10:50 am. We finished at 10:56.
After my interview I noticed the closure was not tinted. I attempted to go back in the salon to notify Lexus but she had stepped out. I returned to my location instead of waiting. After a failed attempt at tinting the lace myself, I reached out around 5 pm to communicate my dissatisfaction with the closure tinting, too tight stitch causing the lace to bubble, and there was extra lace along my edges. Lexus responded at 8:37 pm stating she doesn’t tint on the same day and it’s on her website but she would take the closure off and reinstall. It was evident she was unaware about how the software on her site works because I was able to resend my appointment confirmation which proved that the website was updated with service details after I texted her. Plus, I had waited 3 months for an opening before being able to book a 14 day in advance appointment so I was well versed in your website FAQs and policies. I declined the reinstall because I felt like her response was an attempt to be manipulative, deceitful, and unprofessional.
Tonight 9 Oct (as I removed my install due to the lifting closure which was glued and sewn down, I learned that the install was poor quality. The braid down was poor. The braids were not consistent in size, looped in some areas, and the stitches were roughly 1.5 -2 inches apart except the closure. $250 worth of bundles cut up and folded over 2-4 times depending on the track placement.
This was the worst install I have ever had in conjunction with poor professionalism. I will not return nor will I recommend Lexus or the salon to any future clients. This is truly sad because her website and social media accounts depict a more positive...

Lexus told me she could pin it up the following day and to put my curls in rollers until the next day. The next day came I called Lexus to pin my hair after coming from make up appointment. I was told that she was currently blowing out someone’s hair and had two sew ins after that. In stead of doing what she agreed to she told me she had other customers and could not give me a time as to when she would be done and ended up hanging up in my face.
