We had our hopes up for attending Top Golf, it had been years as the first time we went was over 4-5 years ago to the one in Tennessee. We understand that they’re fairly new, and crazy enough for the Mobile area still wanted to give it a shot. So we did come open minded for every aspect. Because we had our daughter of course we couldn’t be at the bar, but the guy told us we could sit anywhere else and we would still be waited on. We let him know we would like to sit outside and he said it was okay that someone would be out to take our order. So we did go outside, and waited awhile several people walked by but no one approached us. So we stopped someone walking about and asked, he then said he would go in and check. He went in and came back out and told us that they weren’t going to have servers outside where we were. So we moved back inside, in plain view of the bar and any and all other servers. Again, no one approached us. So finally I decided to go to the bar and asked was there not any servers this time speaking with a woman she proceeded to let me know they’re bartenders/servers. Okay, in my mind that still doesn’t make up for how long we sat after coming back inside to never be asked or approached at all. But okay, we drove 2 hours to bring our daughter and it was also raining so at that point it was just continuing to try to enjoy the night. After trying to tell her what we wanted to order, she stops another person and ask them to take our order. She said that she needed to go check on someone else order (these people were sitting at the bar) now this next guy was the ONLY staff to make our night half decent just by having a great attitude and being helpful in anyway and his is Jake/Blake I hate I cannot remember it 100% but he was super awesome about taking our order. As well as since we were waiting on a top bay made sure our food came up to us once it was ready. We did go to our bay which was 215 and got our food shortly after then (by the way the food was amazing) I can’t remember our bay attendant that’s just how now present she was (I left a $15 cash tip and tbh I would’ve much rather handed it to Blake\Jake) We tried to inform her of the bay next to us where a golf club was broken by one of them and the golf club broke all over our table. Somehow the handle of the club manage to miss myself , my friend, and my daughter. So the table could be checked for chards, she was absolutely just blank. There was no real sense of her wanting to make sure we were having a good time. Only seen her again towards the end when they offer you the time to extend. We actually did want to stay longer but after almost spending $200 already the thought of spending more money with Top Golf and that staff it was a no. Overall the food was good, the one guy that actually seemed to care about our experience (Blake/Jake) that’s about it. To be honest if it wasn’t something we wanted to do with our daughter and she was looking forward to it, I would’ve been glad to leave and go somewhere else. Keep up the great attitude Blake/Jake!!! Would love for the video from that night to be viewed so it can be seen how there was no effort from the staff. Would give it another try just not...
Read morehey my name is christian, my girlfriend and me wanted to go to topgolf for her to try for the first time. we went at 9am drive an hour to get there and paid for two hours upfront we were sat at bay 214 for our first two hours where i got this Cesar salad which btw i hate cesar salad but loved it here 10/10 recommend. we had a young lady by the name of lex her manger or trainer who told us she was training. Ms lex was absolutely amazing and was great by far i closed my tab out at around $62 and wanted to play for another two ours but we sadly had to move down stairs not that it’s anyone’s business but i tipped her 20$ that was more than well deserved and wish i had more to give. anyways we then move downstairs to i believe either bay 109 or 110 we then were extremely rudely greeted by another young lady i believe by the name of callie or kallie whatever she was just not what this place was made out to be completely ruining our moods and wanted to not play anymore. we then wait for 30 mins for her to even offer us drinks as its 97* outside making us just miserable. maybe another 15 mins go by and we see her after she finally gets our drinks then we simply ask if we could order food, to then she says yes one moment and we wait 10 mins and finally see her and she’s talking to what looks like the cook manager or something as she was having drama at work or something idk nor does it really matter. then never saw her again from then on. now it’s been and hour and a gentleman comes up with a young lady both workers the gentleman’s name was alex i believe and the young lady’s name was Avery again i also believe could be wrong. Alex was a manger who did literally everything right and was absolutely awesome getting our food order taken and put in and got it to us extremely fast within mins Mrs. Avery was extremely well trained and prepared to take over and knew how to work. she was absolutely amazing and also earned a well deserved tip i believe was around 15 $ on a 63$ tab but we only had her for our last hour sadly. our food was GREAT and alex and avery definitely came to our rescue making the experience worth it just a bit upset that one hour was to a waste because someone didn’t want to be at work. it doesn’t just affect the customers but all those around them. making each worker have to work even harder and stressed more just to take over. i understand people have bad days but don’t bring your bad days to others especially as a server when your main job is to have customer service. i’m extremely disappointed in that individual and hope that either we don’t get her again or even that she has better days and comes next time a bit more cheerful with that being said this was my second time there my first time was with my boss where we easily spend 300+ dollars and this time spends over 123$ i hope the next time we’re there these problems are resolved correctly and is a much better experience than today. thank you again to Mr. Alex Ms. Lex. and Mrs. Avery yall...
Read moreWe were sent to our bay right on time, 4:00. Nobody took us they just gave us a number and sent us off to find it. Nobody came to the bay to greet us and give us the rules or see if we had any idea what were doing. Good thing it was not our first time because the clock was running down our time. About 4:10 a nice gal came and said it was shift change and she could get us drinks but we couldn't get any food for about 15 minutes due to "shift change." But not to worry, our server would be along soon. At 4:45 we still have no drinks and no server and we are completely on our own (and we are on the clock). One of us went to find the manager who came over fairly quickly and apologized and said he would get us started until our server caught up. A different girl brought our drinks. Fine. We order appetizers from the manager. At 5:10 our appetizers come. 70 minutes after our reservation time and 70 minutes into our 120 minute playing time. Our server puts them down and disappears. I literally chased him down and told him we wanted to order meals. And there were 6 of us sharing 3 appetizers using one "community rag" as my husband referred to it. One set of silverware and one napkin. He takes our order around 5:15. No words, simply takes the order. About 5:40 our meals show up, delivered by yet another different person. We tell him again that we need silverware and we need more drinks. Now we are all looking at food we can't eat because you know all that special sauce is coming out and we have no napkins for which to wipe our hands before swinging the golf clubs. We finally get some silverware from yet a different server who tells us we are at the 15 minute warning. We ask to extend because despite the awful service we are enjoying the golf and each other's company. We were told we could not extend our time and in fact we would need to take our food to a back table to eat it in 5 minutes because they have another party coming in at 6:00. The manager apologized for our awful service and gave us coupons for our next visit as well as removed the charge for the golfing, which we definitely appreciate.
