My wife and I recently needed several home projects taken care of: installing a new bathroom sink, fixing a wobbly toilet, trimming a few doors after a carpet installation, and removing an old basketball hoop and pole that came with the house.

We immediately thought of Philbin Construction. A few years back, they completed the finishing work after another company replaced a skylight. Despite the job being small, they treated it with the same care and quality you’d expect from a major project. That experience stuck with us, so calling them again was an easy decision.

Philbin sent a couple of guys over, and they arrived on time, friendly, and clearly knowledgeable. They handled everything efficiently, including removing the basketball pole, which was filled with concrete and far beyond anything my wife and I could have managed ourselves.

Every task was completed to our satisfaction, and their pricing was more than fair. What I appreciate most about Philbin is that they treat both small and large jobs with the same professionalism and attention to detail.

We have dealt with Philbin Construction & Remodeling since 1990. Met Jack at a home show. He and his nephew Matt over the years have added a kitchen skylight & an exhaust fan in the master bathroom, new windows in our basement/living & dining rooms, new outer doors & sidelight, new screen doors, removed paneling & added 2 new windows in our family room, new siding and had exteriors of wood windows aluminum wrapped, installed a composite deck and added some fencing to create separate areas for our greyhounds and the fosters. Also have used their services as handyman to secure a light fixture in my Mom’s flexicore ceiling at her condo and replaced a garbage disposal. If there was ever any problem or question, I call Jack or Matt first and the situation always gets resolved quickly and happily. Their contracts are written in detail so there’s no question as to what/how the project will be staged, etc. Clean-up is never an issue with Philbin’s work crew. Philbin Construction and Remodeling Co. just completed a beautiful renovation of 3 bathrooms for us! Owner, Matt Philbin, initially provided us with a detailed estimate which was ultimately very accurate; areas exceeding the budget were things that we added on. He gave us supportive input on our design ideas, and made detailed building plans for construction. Matt responded quickly to our questions and provided careful oversight of the project. John, Glen and occasionally Nick, were the main construction workers throughout the project and they were a pleasure to work with; professional, friendly, hard-working, and very skilled, with many years of experience.
