Target — Local services in Moline

I LOVE the Moline Target store. I can EASILY find someone to help me OR I have an actually human being ask me nicely if I need any help. PLUS when I do ask for help from an associate, I am not treated like I just put wasp in their pants. They also actually OPEN lanes when there are more than three people in a line (GASP!). The Bettendorf Target is much bigger, but I find the staff so nice, friendly, and polite at Moline, I just go there instead.

Wal-mart could learn a thing or two from their customer service. Target IS more expensive than Wal-Mart, but I love going there vs loathing having to make a trip to Wal-mart. That says it all.

Today I complained a little about the Target card as I did not get my statement and was charged a late fee. The cashier apologized profusely (it wasn't her fault). Then when I called credit services, they credited me back the late fee and helped with the billing error. The guy on the phone was CRAZY nice. I've am just...

Don't get me wrong, I love Target and it was hard not to give it a 10. I prefer to do my shopping at Target. But, in the last year I have been very disappointed in the way the floor has looked. In fact, I find myself straightening up because the areas are so unkept. I have noticed the same thing at other Target's as well so it isn't just one. When I think of Target I think of a place that is a step up from other places. Now I feel that it is comperable or even lower than other stores. I noticed that there are not as many people working on the floor. Is that why? Can these stores not make payroll unless they cut back on employees? If I notice it then I am sure others do as well. Don't get me wrong the new remodeling of the store looks nice. I love the dressing rooms with the new modern brighter lights & the new hip modern music they play but what I don't like is that they don't answer their phone at the service desk when you're calling about something or the long lines which brings back the old Target & how can you go through the self check out lane when you have that bulky plastic security tag that's attached to clothing or other items? You have to find someone who will take it off or go to a regular cashier since you can't do it yourself so the front desk not answering their phones & the long lines are making me wonder if I want to go back...
