Trade Mart — Local services in Moline

Horrendous customer service. The older man at the desk was incredibly disrespectful. I don’t know his name, but he was an older man with glasses that was maybe in his late 60s. All products are FAKE. very low quality. Came in here to check out their selection of pokémon cards. We were looking at the selection of cards displayed at the front of the store. When we couldn’t find the pokémon card section, we asked the employee (or owner??) where they were at. He immediately got very snippy and told us that if we would actually try to look instead of asking him, we’d find it. I didn’t realize we weren’t allowed to ask the employees simple questions...He was extremely rude the entire time, and didn’t even give us the pack we asked for. Now when we opened the card pack, ALL OF THE CARDS WERE DIRTY. The pack had obviously been opened, and re-sealed by whoever. The entire pack ended up being 100% fake. None of the cards in that package were in good condition, or legitimate. If you are looking to buy cards that are actually REAL and not fake, then DO NOT COME HERE. Way too over priced just for some fake cards. The owner was incredibly rude. It’s almost as if he purposely gave us the wrong pack we asked for. Will not ever be returning. THE ENTIRE STORE IS NOTHING BUT A FRAUD!!! DO NOT COME HERE. ALL PRODUCTS ARE SCAMMED! This store needs to get shut down. Nobody deserves to be lied to and treated the way this store treated us. The owner is so incompetent, that he doesn't realize how much his customers don’t appreciate being scammed. Dirty dirty...

Sure, this shop has singles—but so does every other halfway decent card shop. The difference is that everywhere else, the staff actually treat you like a human being. Here, the employees act like customer service is beneath them. God forbid you ask to see a card; instead, they lazily shove a business card at you and mutter something about emailing them, like speaking to customers in person is some unbearable burden. It’s pathetic. I’d rather light money on fire than support a place that makes you feel unwelcome for daring to shop there. If you want friendly service and a fun experience, literally go anywhere else in the QC. This place isn’t worth your time, your money, or even the gas it takes...

My friend brought me to this place after he has been going here for years and I had the unpleasure of dealing with Todd. My first interaction with him was not great, rude is the best way to describe it. Oh well I brushed it off until today.

My wife went in to surprise me with some Pokémon packs. She hardly has any idea about what to get, but enjoys opening them with me. She went in, asked some questions and was met with some pretty rude responses.

Why would you waste your breath on being bitter when you could give someone a great experience in probably the same amount of time? There are many other shops in the area I will gladly support, go somewhere else...
