I've been here twice and there won't be a third time. To start the 1st time the lady running the place that day was a mess and appeared to be in over her head. the employees were confused and kept having to be told what to do. The food that day was good it was a Wednesday and we had the tenderloin special. The business was new and had just opened so I marked this experience to everyone being new. Now yesterday about 6 weeks later was our second visit. The place was busy and thos time it appeared the person running the place was a man. I'm assuming him and the woman from my 1stvisit are probably the owners. This guy was non stop micro managing the employees but he was also helping them. Now the problems started as soon as we were seated. My friend ordered his burger with no onions and walla it arrived with caramelized onions right on top. Not the end of the world but it's a pretty basic request. The burgers were sopping wet with grease, required lots of napkins. It was so bad all you could taste was the grease and salt. The portions were pretty good. Their soft drinks are $3. Something pretty standard anymore. I had an iced tea which cost almost nothing to make. The problem I had was the waitress never once came back to offer a refill as she and several others passed by my empty glass. My policy is I shouldn't have to ask for a refill and if I don't get atleast one refill I dont tip, period. After we were done eating and my glass was still empty the waitress finally came to ask if we would like dessert, then ask would I like a refill NO I'm done. The bill for their basic eta burger, fries, (very small) side salad and an iced tea was almost $17.00. You still have to go to the counter to pay your bill just like Dennys was. This area was way over crowded with people waiting to be seated, people waiting to pay their bills and someone placing a carry out order. The young man checking people out also appeared confused about running a cash register, he also looked like hes related to the micro manager guy and the lady on my 1st visit. Maybe I expect too much but anymore with the price of everything and eating out has almost become a luxury it doesn't cost anything to give good service and pay attention to details. I think we'll see the big picture when the newness wears off. Ps instead of burning a candle at the register maybe try to figure out what that odd smell is inside. The crap smell outside is the sewer plant...

I've been driving past the new ETA Table and Tap every week, eagerly watching for the doors to open. Located in the former Denny’s next to SouthPark Mall, this new pub and restaurant is already making a strong impression on the Moline dining scene.
From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly. The atmosphere strikes a great balance—modern and stylish, but still comfortable and welcoming. We arrived around 2:00 PM and while the place was lively, it wasn't overcrowded. We were seated immediately.
Our server, Maddie, was absolutely fantastic—friendly, attentive, and very knowledgeable about the menu. Service like that really enhances the whole experience.
I went with the Cali Club Burger and let me just say—OMG. Juicy, packed with flavor, and cooked perfectly. We also tried the Bacon Cheeseburger, which was just as delicious. Portions are generous (you’ll probably leave with leftovers, which is never a bad thing), and the fries were plentiful and crispy—definitely not just an afterthought. The menu had several appetizing options at a reasonable price. Also a bar for a night out with friends. Drinks also seemed reasonable.
The restaurant was clean and had a fun, energetic vibe that feels like it could become a local favorite. As we were finishing up, either the owner or manager came by to check on how our meal was, which I thought was a very nice personal touch.
ETA Table and Tap serves lunch and dinner, seven days a week, typically opening at 11:00 AM. While they don’t serve breakfast, the menu more than makes up for it. I’m not sure of their exact closing times, as they vary, but it's best to check before heading out late.
If I had to note one downside, it would be the parking lot entrance—it’s a bit tight for two larger vehicles passing at once. But that’s a small issue compared to everything else they’ve done right.
Huge kudos to the owners and staff. ETA Table and Tap is off to an amazing start and I look forward to seeing it become a go-to spot in the area. I’ll...
Read moreService: The service was alright, had to ask for a refill, had ordered ranch with my meal but it did not come. Other than that it was alright.
Food: Most of the food was honestly mediocre, the only thing I really enjoyed was the actual burger itself! While I was there I had their cheese curds, cream of mushroom soup, and ETA burger. The cheese curds tasted as if they were frozen, and then fried, nothing special about them at all. The ranch that was served also tasted like it came straight from a bottle. I have gotten use to local restaurants that make their own condiments and ranch such as Me & Billy’s and Sippis. This is honestly my expectation of a locally owned restaurant. I was confused why the soup was included, I would prefer it wasn’t and actually have better quality food. The soup was nothing special though you got a decent portion. They brought a basket of crackers with and the first crackers I went to put in my soup were stale/soggy inside the package. As for the meal, the fries were decent and the burger was pretty good, but in my opinion not good enough to make up for the rest of the mediocre food and experience. There are plenty of places in the QC to get a decent burger. I would recommend people try it themselves and form their own opinion, as I said the burger tasted good, but overall I am not impressed and I do not plan to return.
Atmosphere: The atmosphere was ok, had some issue with some...
