JCPenney — Local services in Moline

So my wife and I purchased a Marta Stewart 19 piece pan set. We get home and while inspecting the pans we found a defective pan chipped where the nonstick coating met the edge of the pan. I drive all the way back to return it and they did a quick check and I showed them the defective piece. They didn’t label it as defective and I will get the money back on my card. I went back up stairs to the pan area and an associate brought what I had just returned and placed it on the same shelf for sale. No wonder most JC penny’s are closing and going out of business. Who would have thought! Ended up at Penneys on a whim, wife and I never shop here and we were in the market for bedroom and kitchen Supplys. Ho so excited we remodeled our whole bedroom and even ordered custom blinds. Jan is the absolute most amazing woman in the world and it meant the world to us to work with her. An employee named Tim was very rude and nosey and made me run across the store to get a different shirt because mine had a tag. Terrible customer service I also saw him yell at a girl in the fitting rooms for using the “mens” fitting room. He was checking out ladies in the register and stopped as he saw her coming out to show someone a dress and ran to the fitting rooms to tell her she couldn’t use them because they’re were many girls fitting rooms and not as many men’s. she was a teenager trying on clothes and the whole fitting rooms were empty.
