I am baffled by the experience I just had here. We walked in about 10 minutes to close, anticipating that we would be out in less than 10 minutes, but at 5 to close with another group shopping, the employee turned off the lights with no explanation. My guest and I begin checking the time and looking around for some understanding of why we were all standing in the dark now. The other shoppers with items in hand to purchase look just as confused. After a couple minutes of stunned silence, I say, "Are you closing?" Sternly, she responds."Yes! We close at 1." Confused again, everyone starts checking the time to confirm we have 3 minutes left to check out. The employee leaves the register to start locking doors and turning the sign to closed.
