This place took me longer than I wanna admit to get there. So I was already excited as we pull In the parking lot. I had no idea what I had been missing with this place. I'm standing by my ride trying to figure out where I wanna start browsing, til a lil ole lady rushes past me saying " you'll never get anywhere standing still with your mouth open ,son" . It snaps me back to my senses and I'm off. I make a beeline to the nearest outdoor booth full of handcrafted goods and rediscovered relics. I'm drawn to this endearing wall hanging. I reach for it and the owner appears from the back, a sassy older lady, the kind that has a story to help with a problem for every situation in life. We hit it off immediately, I'm standing there in awe of her quaint but well stocked booth eyes locked on the wall hanging. She tells me it's hand crafted by an old friend of hers. So I'm thinking she's gonna ask an outrageous price. Wrong!! Ten bucks!! I cannot believe it. I pay her and ask if I can leave it there til I'm done bouncing round this place she says she'll guard it with her life. I stop by each other booth thru out the day. Each one full of treasures and genuinely nice people who make ya feel like you've known them forever. And I did not see anything overly expensive. I purchased the painting, sum toys for my kids ,a chain mail helmet, and sum pool cleaning supplies for less than 80$ I didn't wanna leave but when I did I felt so awesome getting compliment on my chain mail helmet. I'm pulling outa the parking lot thinking I've forgotten sumthing important.... THE PAINTING!! I slam on the breaks, put it in reverse and check my rear view mirror only to see ole sassy cat running ,at an amazing speed, towards me with the painting . I jump out meet her halfway. I'm more outa breath than she is. But in between gasps of air I thank her again for going above and beyond the call of human compassion. Top ten best days of my life. Cannot...

This is a "Must do"! My Daughter and I went this past weekend and oogled over everything! Losts of cool old stuff, vintage, hand made. We left our fingerprints on everything we looked at. There is all kinds of items okd and new from A-Z including food. All that shopping will make you hungry! The people who own and run the Gators Flea market are such wonderful people too. I myself have bought several things from them and some of the vendors. If you dont find anything you cant live without or dont need, you'll be hungry.
