Hair We Go — Local services in Monroe

I have a million and one positive things to say about Hair We Go in Monroe. After my experience today, I will definitely be a returning client at their new location! (Sorry in advance for the essay below) Ms. Sandi and Mr. Julian were the only two stylists working when I arrived. Right off the bat, they were extremely sweet and welcoming. Ms. Sandi took me back to her chair while starting a conversation. I'm typically a very anxious person in settings like this; however, she made me feel comfortable. I showed her a picture of what I wanted done and told her I am very particular about my hair. She instantly showed confidence in what I asked of her and made sure to double-check the length with me. She was very fast, yet on point, and gave me exactly what I wanted! As I said before, I am very particular and picky with my hair, and I am extremely happy with the outcome. If you have been inside Pecanland Mall within the past year or two, I’m sure you are aware of how hot it is on the inside, especially when the heat index outside is reaching 110 degrees. I DO NOT, in any way, blame Hair We Go for the heat, as it was much cooler in the salon. To make a long story short, I ended up passing out because of (what I believe to be) the heat. Ms. Sandi was very calm and cared for me on the ground while Mr. Julian rushed to grab me water and two wet washcloths to cool me down. I apologized (I have never been more embarrassed in my life lol) and they tried their hardest to make sure I did not feel bad. The receptionist girl, I think her name is Taylor, is absolutely amazing! This girl made sure I was well taken care of. And I will definitely be back. I’m so glad I finally found a place to go that has amazing women who work there and make you feel right at home. Taylor was so sweet and she does an amazing job! I have been to so many other places and I can tell you this the receptionist is the first person we see. And that who is basically the face for the company. I was a walk in and Connie cut my hair. I should have known from the beginning that I shouldn't let her touch my hair. She was complaining to the other 2 girls cutting hair about their co worker that had called in sick that day. Connie had been called in to cover her. She complained about her the entire time she was cutting my hair. She kept checking her phone when she would get texts or phone calls. It was VERY unprofessional!
