Michaels — Local services in Monroeville

The store was clean and very well organized! There were associates available to take you where you wanted to go. Friendly and willing to help! A lot of merchandise available in each department! I went into Staples and they were well organized, very helpful and I found what I wanted. Very Good Customer Service! The next store was Walmart. I did not find what I was looking for. I asked for help but they stated they did not have the product and suggested TJ MAX. Before I went there, I shopped at the Hallmark Store. It was Excellent! Helpful clerks, finely displayed and labeled areas with a large assortment of items I was looking for. My Hallmark Rewards card, Free, had expired and I was asked if I wanted a new one. It was 3 minutes to sign me up. I received for signing up, a free card, free chocolate covered pretzel, Sarris!, and a coupon for $10.00 off a $25.00 purchase the next time I went into a Hallmark store. Lastly, I went into TJl Max. On the way home from Pittsburgh, we stopped so I could look for the sliced pine wooden Christmas ornaments. I wasn't able to find them so I asked a woman there. I said I have a question, she said what, like I was a bother to her, then I didn't speak fast enough she said well hurry up. So I asked where the items I was looking for was. She took me thru the front part of the store, then said, oh you should have told me they were the DIY ornaments because they are right here and if they aren't there, I can't help you. I left the store, won't be back. I'll go to my local Michael's where they are nice to their customers and they always know where thi gs are in the store.

This place used to be a Pat Catan's. I was on their inventory team from a third party company for their closing inventory. They recognized me when I came in as a customer almost a year later, and they were just as nice, helpful and knowledgeable as I remember. Since I refuse to shop at my local store, due to awful customer service, I'm more than happy to drive all the way to Monroeville for supplies just to be treated with respect.
