Walgreens — Local services in Monterey Park

Best convenient store nearby! Newer place compared to the others around here. I’m thankful for their parking lot! Plenty of spaces and you don’t gotta worry about your car getting dinged. It’s the EASIEST to access compared to the other drug store pharmacies along Atlantic. You don’t have to deal with tons of people scavenge for parking or drawing with traffic to enter/exit the plaza. I emphasize this because it’s literally the main and only reason I go to this shop versus CVS & Rite Aid down the street.

I get my yearly flu shots here. I made the appointments online and it was a simple process. We waited around 10 min for the pharmacist and he gave us the shots and we were done in less than 5 mins!

They have a good variety of seasonal items here that are worth exploring. So much fun Christmas items like chocolates, stocking stuffers, and gifts. I was surprised but the toy aisles had a lot of cool stuff for the kids. Definitely better than the stuff I remembered them having when I was growing up as a kid.

I first came to Walgreens to get my second Covid vaccine over a year ago and made reservations online since they have free parking and the location is close to home. My appointment was on time and I didn't have to wait long to get checked in. The pharmacists there are very nice from the times I've visited.

I appreciate them sending me SMS reminders when I have a prescription ready for pick up or if there's going to be a delay. Picking up my medication is quick and easy. As a returning customer, they saved my primary card on file to quickly pay for medications I need.
