Pollo Loco was short staffed so they closed at 7p, but yet they were accepting online orders. And unless I harass them and bug them for info and help they won’t automatically issue refunds to online order they can’t fulfill. And the staff didn’t know what to do or what to say that night. Horrible customer service. All these fast chains being run by kids.
I was very clear about getting in communication with someone to help me with a refund because they didn’t turn off their online orders, and now I’m having to play a follow up game. Very unprofessional to put the staff in this position, I understand this is out of their hands since it’s not managed onsite, but that is precisely why management is there to make sure things are working accordingly.
Where are they? Who knows? But whomever owns this store is so selfish to leave their staff clueless, not properly trained...

Read moreThe food was good, but nothing to differentiate this location's food from others. Some of the elderly customers however are a different story. These are some of the rudest customers I've ever encountered. Several of them camped out in from of the drink machine, drinking from their cup, refilling, over and over, basically blocking anyone else from using it. Others did the same with the salsa bar and even the pick up window. I know this isn't normally the restaurant's fault, but apparently these people are "regulars" here, and have established a rapport with the staff.
