I have been eating a lot of salad lately, well, for a few months or so. I find that the vegetables from here are SO much better than at any grocery store! I like the different types of lettuce and the tomatoes and cucumbers and bell pepper are very good. The staff is almost always friendly depending on who it is of course. I had a question about the cucumbers begin more crunch if they are firm or soft and the lady that I asked that was working told me to try the pickling cucumbers that they were the crunchiest and didn't have the wax on them that the other ones do. I also like to get grapes, apples, and the corn when it's in season and like 3-4 for $1 or $2. And I almost forgot to mention the $1 item that they sometimes have all different vegetables some don't look all that good sometimes but every once in awhile I'll find one that is good. Nothing fancy. most common veggies and fruits. Tomatoes are a little bit better than in regular groceries - but still tastless and not sweet at all. Apples are not the best breeds. Peaches are small, but taste is okay, not the best, but okay. From herbs is cilantro only. Expected more from farmer's market. It's still better than nothing. 5 stars just because I don't know anything better around Tallahassee yet.
