Kroger — Local services in Monticello

I ordered a graduation cake for my grandson' commencement Sunday. They were very nice and accommodating when I went in and ordered. However the cake was not what I expected. It was supposed to be half chocolate and half white with whipped cream frosting. The white was yellow. There was the thinest layer of whipped cream. The two sides were uneven. See photo. The pictures on the front were not aligned, Congratulations was split, there was so much green on the faces and clothes, and it wasn't flat, lots of bubbles/ripples in them. And there was red smeared in the parts of the whipped cream. Everyone said it tasted good and moist. It just looked awful. 😖 Embarassing. Won't order from there again. Check your receipts..price displayed not always what your charged up front.. then nobody at customer service to refund your money hoping you'll just eat their blatent overcharging and just leave.they have camera's all over self checkout because they say people are stealing and they are the thieves..unless I'm buying $30 or less this happens every time..19 minutes and counting at customer service without service! Now Im told shes only human in store that can do refund and she's now on lunch I'm told. Corporate doesn't trust anyone else in the store to do refunds. Guess they think manager s and staff are thieves...

Used to be really solid went into today and was extremely disappointed. There were multiple staff waltzing around the store doing whatever. However there were no open registers. Only self check out. So then they tell you to wait for them to open a lane. Sure maybe if you already had one open and you guys were super busy sure. Kinda got the if you dont like it go to Walmart kind of feel to how they said stuff. Which I really rather not go to Walmart but at least they have a lane open all the time. I'll never ever check my own groceries out and pay...
