Taco Bell — Restaurant in Monticello

This was hands down, the WORST Taco Bell I have ever visited.

We spent the entire day at Indiana Beach and didn’t leave until 11. We thought “hey, let’s get Taco Bell” before our 2 hour venture home. That was a mistake.

The moment we walked in, the entire building REEKED. Smelled absolutely horrible. That should have been our first sign. We proceeded to then order on the kiosk. Paid $50 for all of our food, and waited.

We waited for nearly 25 minutes before our food was done. Then when it was given to us, we were not provided our drinks, so we had to ask. They then informed us the freeze machine was down and compensated us fountain drinks. (Wasted extra money on that). 3 of our tacos had no lettuce. They put lettuce, so we had to get that fixed. We had a steak burrito, they used chicken on. Had to get that fixed. Ordered a newer dip with no beans. Guess what??? Had beans. Paid extra for Jalapeños on a Crunchwrap. None.

Overall, NOTHING was made right. We sat in this Taco Bell for 45 minutes for everything to be wrong. Spent $10 extra to just waste away and not be compensated. Stood at the front counter for an additional 5-10 minutes to ask for a fork. Just to be ignored. Finally we just took the L and left.

Told 4 different people walking in to go somewhere else and explained. They all said it’s the usual here...

This was an awful experience I wouldn't have even given this place a 1 star if I had the chance. Only reason they even got a one was because the blonde girl with glasses was soooo sweet. Also the manager was nice. Wherever she went after that I am not sure. So here was the issue tables were very unclean. The younger kids in the back played around. We ordered 2 bean burritos for my daughter that were supposed to have no onion because she would be hospitalized. We waited forever for 2 bean burritos. The kid making it had a shifty attitude. We come back to the table we realize we are missing cinnamon twist and nacho and cheese. So I had to return to get it. Tacos were cold and cheese was not melted on the quesadilla. I would not be surprised if we got food poisoning. We will not be coming back there was no trying to make it right or even a...

Taco Bell has the only worth while fast food breakfast burritos. So it is very sad to me that they have now decided to delay opening until 8:00am.

If they are going to start serving breakfast that late, they may as well get rid of the breakfast menu again. Even starting at 7:00am they are the late opener compared to the other fast food places serving breakfast. Most working people start their work day by 7:00am. So, even delaying opening to 7:00am has probably been causing Taco Bell to miss most of the available morning customers..

Sadly, I will no longer be coming to get breakfast during the week because 8:00 breakfast pushes my day back too far. Farewell, Taco...
