Burger King — Restaurant in Monticello

As I walked in, I visited the restroom, only to see it about as dirty as could be... There was, at least, paper towel & soap in their respective dispensers (There was a full staff, and it wasn't busy enough to excuse the lack of service to the restroom). I got in line, which wasn't long at all, and was serviced in a reasonable amount of time. I then presented my phone with a QR code. The team member let out an audible sigh and had to call the manager in order to address the presentation of said code from the BK app... After that, I was given my change & receipt. I moved over to the waiting area. I should note that the rest of the restaurant was very clean, and there was even a surprising amount of holiday decor (which I, personally, appreciate). There wasn't enough people in front of me, or in the drive thru, to justify the amount of time I waited for a single Whopper (given the amount of staff on hand), but there was a rather large order in front of me, so the wait time wasn't completely unjustified... A couple in front of me was becoming a bit frustrated about their wait time, though. I eventually got my sandwich and made my way out of the store.

All in all, it was an above- average visit to a BK, compared to my more recent visits to other locations... But, it would be remiss of me, not to mention the unacceptable condition of their...

First week in town and my wife and I grabbed a quick burger and the usual for dinner. Within 24 hours my wife was sick, and about 12 hours after that I was sick; we both had food poisoning. Nothing hits you that quick and hard. Took us the better part of a week to recover. Not eating at this place again. And I remember at the time, they had no help. The same girl was taking orders at the drive thru window and was also taking orders at the front counter. She wasn't happy and wasn't pleasant. Mind you, there were 3 guys cooking in back and do you think one of them would have offered to come out front and help her? No, they were laughing and talking in the back. And they weren't so busy that it took 3 guys to cook the food. But they were having a good time and in the meantime doing who knows what to the food that made us sick. Steer clear...

Slow slow slow, I've never worked fast food before but, u think the point that they should stress would be the part that says fast food. We visited the driveup and waited 4-5 min to order no worries there that's beyond their control of so we thought. We then used an online coupon that expires in 15min. 14min later the 2 cars in front of us cleared and we made our way to the window and paid just in time to redeem the coupon. I then watched them start making our whoppers... one would've thought in the 14 min we waited after ordering they would've started them. I don't know like i said I've never worked fast food so i don't know how they operate but, we eventually got our food and enjoyed it. It wasn't terrible or terribly long but, i was extra hungry and a tad hangry so I'll give them a 4 but, could've...
