I have been searching for the perfect engagement rings for my partner and I to match our outdoor-loving spirit. Finding something unique, local, and affordable was very important to us. After moving to Vermont, I stumbled upon Courtney’s website and immediately knew her style was the answer. I reached out to Courtney and we set up an in person meeting soon after to talk through ideas and take a look at some of her samples. Her easy-going nature and expertise during the consultation assured me this was the right choice!
She listened to what was important to my partner and I, my vision for the engagement, and the meaning behind the moment to help me pick out the perfect design (the Green Mountain ridge line) and materials for two rings (polished and matte finishes to complement each other). After making the final selection, I got the rings delivered soon after and could not have been happier with the stunning outcome! I ended up finding the perfect moment to propose to my girlfriend on a muddy gravel ride at our favorite vista at sunset with Camel’s Hump in the background (and on the silhouette of our rings!).
The entire process working with Courtney was so easy and assuring every step of the way. I would not hesitate to recommend her for all your...
Read moreAs a former competitive athlete and extreme sport enthusiast, I do not wear jewelry except on special events. Even then it's mostly just a necklace (don't even have my ears pierced). So imagine my own surprise when I found myself (on a whim) spending some money purchasing a fancy ring with a real gem stone.
I had just gotten off a week long backcountry paddle trip and the design really spoke me. It reminded me of the wild river with the sun rising. I was not totally sure I'd wear it since I've never worn a ring, but I'm happy to report that I haven't taken it off since purchasing it. On my flight home to Seattle, I couldn't stop looking at it, and once the novelty wore off, it's so comfortable that I completely forget that I'm wearing it (in fact I'd say it's the most comfortable thing I have on right now).
The flat profile means it doesn't snag on things, and the light weight makes it effortless to type, and the waves in the band happens to sit perfectly over the curves between my fingers, which also kept it from rotating.
Her sign at the farmer's market said "Jewelry for the Outdoor Adventurer" (or something to that effect). It's truth in advertising. Highly...
Read moreI came across Courtney's work at a farmer's market in Burlington, VT in May 2019. I loved her work so much that I held onto her business card in case I was in need of something in the future.
Fast forward to 2021. I wanted to gift my fiance with something for the birth of our baby boy or girl (we left that part a surprise). I wanted something that would feel special to her and tells a story, a story she could share with our baby boy or girl in the future.
I reached out to Courtney and she worked closely with me to make sure the necklace told the story I imagined. The outcome...
The 14,000 foot Colorado peak (Handies Peak) that we got engaged on, with the trail we hiked to get to the summit engraved. A Montana sapphire stone which represents the month we got engaged (September) as well as the state where my fiance was born. And lastly, handmade in our favorite state where we will likely be calling home for our new baby boy in the future, Vermont.
I can't say enough about my experience working with Courtney on this project, and the piece came out...
