Montrose County Fairgrounds — Local services in Montrose

We came first thing in the morning for the carnival, their rides were fun for the girls (too much for me, but still enjoyable to watch them.) The food choices were lacking, not like I was expecting gourmet burgers or anything, but at least more sides than just ketchup, mayo and mustard. The photos were misleading and had things like lettuce, tomato and onion…the burger was just plain with cheese for $11. Most of the carnival staff only speak Spanish, so I got to hang with some of them while waiting for the girls to ride. They had fun, I’m eating a burger...

I've actually never been to an event at this fairgrounds. But the facilities look really nice. I've also been to a couple of buildings with a VFW meets, and have taken a look around the hole facility it's huge. I was actually there to dump my RV holding tank as well as fill up with water. It's very generous of the county and the fairgrounds to provide the service for RVers who are passing through or like me having staying up on some BLM land. Thank you Montrose county...

Wonderful annual Gun Show event. Staff was very professional and helpful. Huge selection from many dealers and a really nice food offering with coffee, beverages and breakfast sandwiches and plenty of available parking spaces.
