Cheryl Schuck is unethical, manipulative, and a thief. An embarrassment to the real estate industry. She allowed multiple people access to our apartment without our prior knowledge or consent. She intentionally mislead us into thinking we were covered under the terms of our lease. And now thanks to her horrible business practices, my girlfriend and I have 60 days to vacate a property we've only lived in for 5 months of a 12 month lease. As a former real estate agent myself, I am not surprised. This industry is filled with unethical, corrupt, thieves like Cheryl. I even called the agency she works for, Remax of Montville, more than once, as an attempt to get an understanding of why they would hire unethical agents like Cheryl. I never received a call back, which leads me to believe the broker is well aware of the shady business practices. Do yourselves a favor, don't work with Cheryl or this agency. UPDATE: even though I see Sylvia says that I’m “lying” she’s the one lying because the 3 times I called her for this issue with one of her listing agents, she NEVER returned my call! I was the one who had to call her because she never returned my calls. My issue with her listing agent is very serious. When I called her back today, she said the reason she didn’t return my call was because she had a “stomach problem” and that’s why she DIDN’T return my call. I also told her to look into the issue for me and her reply was that she “did” and she didn’t find anything that her agent did wrong, now I know this is NOT true and she’s covering up for her employees mistake.
