This is my first bad review in my life. I bought a jetpack in Dec 2020 for my parents small apartment. I was told my plan had unlimited data and since I am getting the jet pack, I should ignore any over data messages. I was told that since this is a jetpack, it will work the same all the time and does not slow down after a certain amount of use. My parents said it basically stopped working after a few days. I noticed the days that iit did work fine were the days following my monthly data renewal. I called this store today (where I bought it) and I was told at least 6 times that it must be the device, I should not have any issue with slow speed since this device does not slow down. I drove in and the manager explained that this device does slow down after so much use. I told her my issue was I was told otherwise when I bought it and again today. I would have NEVER bought it as this device does nothing for my needs. I was told I have to pay the $150 balance and I can't return it. I asked due to the misinformation from their employee that caused me to buy it, can someone offer me some sort of customer service credit (I have been with Verizon for at least 10 year with 8 devices). I was told no, I just had to pay off the device and cancel that phone line. Zero, zilch, nada customer service. Not even a sorry that I was told bad info. It would have also been Nic to hear that she would be sure the staff is retrained on how the jetpacks work so no-one else has my...
Read moreHusband’s iPhone 7 said it had no service so I went to this store for help. A lady (wish I knew her name)with long brownish blond hair came up to me and asked if I need help. I told her that his phone had no service. She said “well that new update was Apple’s way to get rid of iPhone 7’s. So that phone is rendered useless and you need a new phone.” Thankfully, I forgot my wallet at home and I told my husband what was wrong. He was so upset , he went to the Verizon store at Mt. Nebo point. The person that worked there said he had no idea about an update that would kill the phone and offered a new SIM card and said if it doesn’t work call Apple. The new card worked for a couple days so he called apple and they said that there was a recall of the antenna and that the company didn’t “update to kill off the phone.” So happy I listened to my husband and not Verizon! I would of been out $400 for a new phone instead of getting it fixed for free! Never will go to this store again! It makes me sick that they want your money that bad to lie! That sounds like fraud to me! I’ll go to the Mt. Nebo store where they are at least honest and...
Read moreI recently purchased a new smartphone from the Verizon store in Moon township, Pennsylvania. I purchased an lgv30. In the past I have had issues with other Verizon employees( at a different location) with questions I've had and felt rushed and then brushed off. On November 26th, 2018, I went to the Verizon store in Moon township and Gideon assisted me, but unfortunately I did not have a lot of time, so I had to return the next day. The next day, both Gideon and Adam assissted me immensely. Gideon set up the warranty for my screen cover, showed me how the camera works and was more than helpful in answering my questions. Adam assisted me with issues between my tablet and my phone with Facebook. Adam was able to resolve the issues. I was in the store on Tuesday for over an hour and both of these gentlemen went above and beyond to help me. Their help was immensely appreciated and I would highly recommend these two associates, Gideon and Adam, and this...
