Wings, Suds, and Spuds. Name is concise and to the point. The place definately has an authentic dive feel to it. The place is cozy it feels like a bar that your dad would hang out after a bowling tournament win. The staff was cordial and the wait for the food abit long but to be fair we where there at the lunch rush. I ordered the Cajun and the Garlic Parmesan wings. The wings were large. The Cajun Wings were over seasoned. I think they season them for heat index and then again for the individual flavor. The seasoning was over whelming. However the Garlic Parmesan wings had a good heat with a individual flavor, I would recommend them. The fries were delirious, I would recommend adding seasoning on them to make them more appetizing. Overall a great place to have a meetup of old friends and be able to enjoy conversation. The beer list has great options.

I got stuck in Pittsburgh because the flight was cancelled. So I grabbed a room at the DoubleTree. I needed a place to eat within walking distance and didn't want a chain restaurant. I looked at Google Maps and Wings Suds and Spuds grabbed my attention. And I'm so glad I tried it out. The fries were fresh cut and cooked perfectly. So good! They have a nice selection of sauces for their wings. I had mild, which were not hot at all. The blue cheese was tasty. And there is a nice selection of beer on tap. (They had just tapped an Oktoberfest!!) Plus, the service was personable and friendly.

Yeah, that was pretty disappointing. I've heard so many good things about this place, but my experience didn't live up to the hype. I ordered medium hot Buffalo wings and dry Cajun-rubbed wings, but what I got were plain fried wings that were supposed to be Buffalo. The Buffalo sauce was so oily it wouldn't even stick to the dried wing, and the Cajun wings were so heavily seasoned they were practically inedible. The staff in the front were good to go. Thanks for letting me try.

Stopped by while waiting for car repairs nearby. Let me preface this by saying, I never ate wings until I got a job, as A WING COOK, at an independent restaurant. Worked there for a year and became a bit of a connoisseur. Where do I start. They have a list of sauces. Jerk, teriyaki, xyz, etc. I wanted to taste test a few, I tested jerk and parm-garlic (?) I think. Both terrible and uninspired, could go so far as to say they had a similar flavor (wat?). Ordered 'hot' 'buffalo style, and teriyaki with no spice. Buffalo flavor was fine, sauce very thin and buttery though. Teriyaki DIDN'T TASTE ANYTHING like teriyaki. They mix their sauces, ie, if you want teriyaki, you can get it mild/med/hot, but they just mix it with the corresponding heat level. And may I add, it is some kind of policy here to not give you the sauce on the side (I always get it on the side to preserve the crispiness of the wings). Alexis, my server, who was great, assured me their wings were cooked to crispy. Ok fine, so, you can only get them covered in sauce. Muddled and befuddled flavor, sauce all over your damn hands. To add insult to injury, the wings were pre-fried! I received my order of crispy wings in less than five minutes (doesn't happen, takes at least 10-12 minutes to cook a fresh batch to crispiness). The chicken was dry, chewy, and some bits so crispy they were crunchy. I hate to waste food. But I choked eight or nine down and sent the rest back. Atmosphere is blah. The only thing that saved this place from One-stardom was my server. She offered to make me new ones etc. Whoever owns this place, pull your head out, get with your cooks, stop trying to cut corners, come up with some real flavors. JFC. Maybe there is something tasty at your restaurant, but your namesake...

WSS has excellent food and a fun place to be from top to bottom. Despite their name, the menu offers a variety and it is great food across the board. The Garlic Parm. wings are my favorite, but you can get them at varying heat intensity levels (Mild/Medium/Hot...), they realize that everyone has different "heat" thresholds...And if you like extra sauce, you can get them extra wet. The staff is very friendly and accommodating even on the busiest of days. We recently visited the restaurant and Laura was our waitress. She went above and beyond to make sure our large party of 10 was completely satisfied. Recognizing that it was a busy night and the food may take slightly longer than usual, she offered our young son crackers and crayons to keep him entertained. This may seem like an expected offer from a waitress, but the place was packed and she had several other customers to take care of. We didn't have to ask, she just wanted to do what she felt would bring a smile to our table. She was so attentive to us and even held napkins over a dripping cup so it would not drip on anyone as she delivered it across the table. The entire staff is very friendly and considerate, but given the circumstances of how busy the night was, Laura went above and beyond to make sure everyone was satisfied and she did it with a smile. Great place, great...

At first this place seemed great, but the owner/manager completely ruined our experience. After my roommate and I have were just about finished with our meal, the waitress came to tell us the credit card machine failed. We hung around for another 20 minutes or so, but the machine wasn’t working. We did not have cash, as the establishment stated credit cards were accepted. The waitress then asked us to leave the restaurant, go to sheetz, get cash, then come back to pay since the establishment doesn’t have an ATM. Of course the owner had the waitress do her dirty work instead of coming over to us. The waitress was polite but wasn’t offering other forms of payment.. PayPal, venmo, square etc just told us we needed to leave and get cash. This was absolutely unfair and absurd. With today’s technology there was no excuse for this establishment not to have some sort of backup. We weren’t even offered any type of discount or coupon for the inconvenience. The owner was unrealistic, rude, greedy and selfish. I had no problem paying. Finally, we settled on writing a check after the owner was so adamant on us getting cash. As a business professional, this was absurd and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. The Hanger is better anyways,...
