Tom Strouhal Little River — Attraction in Moore

There are 2 separate parts of Little River park. There is the pirate ships on 4th street and a play ground and splash pad in the Plaza Towers neighborhood. Pros: Both offer restrooms that are open during park hours. There are several pavilions that can be rented at both park areas. Doggie poo bags are available at the beginning of the walking trails at the park on 4th street. There are plenty of benches through out the park and walking trails as well as around the ponds. Plenty of open fields for children to practice soccer, baseball, etc. As well as for people to fly their drones. The 4th street park has baby swings and big kid swings as well as 2 separate jungle gyms. A bigger jungle gym for the older kids and a smaller jungle gym for smaller kids. Fishing is permitted with a state license for teens and adults 16 and over, children under the age of 16 do not need a license. Cons: 4th street park has very little shade out side of the pavilions. Positives: It's a great park. Pirate ship themed. Lots of slides and fun stuff to climb. Really cute cool different stuff that you don't always see at parks. Negatives: There were a lot of people and kids when we went that were having birthday parties and such so there was a lot of leftover trash everywhere that little kids probably threw down and parents didn't come clean it up which isn't right. I was going to take my 4 year old to the bathroom so she didn't wet herself but it was so disgusting in the bathroom that I told her to hold it until we got home. It stunk to high heaven in that place and there was toilet paper all over the ground. I couldn't even breathe just from opening the door so we walked right back out. If you can get past the negatives, you'll love it. Just don't plan on using the bathroom, unless it gets cleaned up. And hopefully the trash will be picked up...

I had my son's 2nd birthday here love the park but this visit that I'm at today actually had some very vulgar and nasty words written on a piece of the playground I cleaned it off for future kids that come to play at the playground it is sad that someone so inhumane would write such nasty and vulgar stuff at a children's playground people need to grow up seriously this place for kids not for nasty people writing dirty stuff on a children's playground please let the children have a great imagination and fun and be able to play and not have to think so dirty and see such dirty stuff because of disgusting people like you if you read this but to all the other parents that decide to come to the park it is a wonderful place and I did clean the disgusting words off of the park so have a wonderful time it is a wonderful Park my son loves being...
