I used to get my farm supplies from a store named theresas country feed and pet which is a mile away from my house. Than online i discovered Tractor supply, which is 6 miles away from my house and as soon as i went i fell in love with the place, i have to go at least twice a week its like a disneyland for me. Unfortunately the last 3 times that i went i had very bad experience, customer service wise. My entire life i havent posted any bad reviews before i myself own 5 retail stores and i dont like to hurt other businesses. Last time when i went i was checking a bottle that was on a Atv car. 2 employees were passing by a guy and a girl. So the guy employee said this gonna look nice on ur property he thought i was checking out the ATV, i didnt pay attention and did not respond he said it again with a sarcastic voice so i showed him what i had in my hand and the girl employee laughed. When he saw the bottle in my hand he said you didnt hear abt this bottle. Anyway than i went to the bathroom, he came after me and finished before me started to wash his hands and took forever since theres only one sink to wash. I didnt say anything. So as i was going to the register to pay he made sure to go to be the one on the register to help me, he rang everything without asking my phone number to look up my account, so when he was done he had to do it all over again to add them to my account, also i had couple items to return , he gave me a hard time telling me he cant look up my account he waisted my time asking id and stuff so it was 9 already he told me he cant return anymore bcz there system closes at 9. Unfortunately i wont go back to this store bcz of this employee, and im not a regular customer each time i go i spent a minimum of 600$ and up. I hope the CEO or the owner can go back on cameras to thursday september 5 from 8 to closing to see what happened . A place like this should have better employees that respects its...

I have been to this store on a number of occasions to buy items that they say are available in stock at the store. More than 50% of the time, the item is either not on the shelf and/or the staff can not locate the item in the store even though they can verify that it's supposed to be in inventory. On other occasions, I have been told to check back at a later date because they have no idea when items will be restocked -- apparently restocking is at the whim of the corporation rather than by direct request/order of the store. Basically, I can't rely on this store to deliver its products and would rather go to it's competitor hardware stores in Simi Valley rather than shop in my own town. I know I will get what I need at Home Depot or Lowes if it is in stock per...
Read moreSince a similar store closed down and these guys opened, I have had no idea what they are about. I saw the name and figured "I don't have a tractor" so .... no need to go it. I'm kicking myself for that now.
Basically, the store is mash of a hardware store, a pet store, a lawn and garden store, plus a lot of agricultural stuff.
I'm kicking myself because this place has all the little things I've been driving 8 miles to home depot to pick up, when this place is less than 2 miles away.
I chatted with a cashier for a few seconds and she was very friendly, asking if I found everything ok (an not in the "this is my line" way). She genuinely wanted to know and to help.
Prices were good as well. If you live in Moorpark and need some tools or supplies for a small job, this...
