My boyfriend and I recently moved to the area and were so excited to try out this classic theatre. We obviously had never been here before, and walk in and no one greets us and were very rude when we were asking questions. I thought being a college student qualified for the student price, apparently not- which is fine, but the man didn’t need to rudely say “uh no people can go to college forever.” And then no one tells me the total and price for everything so I’m sitting there figuring it out myself and say “$19?” One employee says yes but another rudely goes “um no add about another $10.” Which- it was only another $5. Read moreI've always loved the Lake Theater, ever since I was a kid. It's a very small theater but the tickets and snacks are super cheap. But what's most amazing about this litter theater, is that throughout this whole COVID-19 thing, they've been showing older movies, one's I never thought I would get the chance to see on the big screen! Staff was friendly and talkative and quite witty! The piano and Mickey Mouse really made it feel homey, and back to the good ol days full of classics and quality.
