Went in for milk, motor oil and juice. Big mistake. Let me start off by saying I apologize as the customer of the store for any "offense" I may have caused the customer service professional that rang me up. I will also say it seems rather strange that I as a paying customer have to apologize to the customer service professional. That all being said it is my understanding that it is a store employee's essential job function to answer to questions and meet customer needs no matter what their personal opinion about the question is. Then argue/accost the customer (see above apology for my guilt in this matter.) To then be yelled at again completely un provoked after my transaction was complete and I was leaving the store with no issue. Then to attempt to resolve or quell the issue I reach out via the internet and telephone to the store manager but was brushed aside and passive aggressively blamed for her lack of professionalism, customer service and to be completely candid her total disregard for demonstrating any kind of emotional regulation. I am not normally the kind of person to raise a fuss and normally give people the benefit of the doubt and blame some exterior environmental factor or some extraordinary reason as to why any person in the customer service industry may treat me poorly but this upset me to a very deep point. This is the place I'm supposed to feed myself from, support all my local teams and support local employee owned businesses. I mentioned above that this was not the first time I communicated with the store rest assured that this will be the last fuss I make about it, the last bad review or call. Have a wonderful day/up coming weekend to all of you and thank you for all the exceptional experiences I had with other staff...
Read moreThe prices are OUTRAGEOUSLY HIGH! It is more affordable to drive 25 miles to the nearest other grocery store to save money (as a matter of fact, I could probably drive there about 5 times and still save money over visiting TJ’s once!) EXAMPLE : Large boxes of cereal are $7.50-$8! And don’t stop here if you’re in a hurry- their self-help registers must have been programmed by a 3-year-old because EVERY time I’ve done a price lookup, the wrong item rings up resulting in me having to wait 5 minutes for someone to come and help void the item. Today I waited, and waited, and waited, and waited until I finally had to hop into another manned checkout line. They told me today that they are getting rid of the self checkouts so now your waits will be even longer. I will no longer shop here! Luckily I have the means to travel a distance to shop elsewhere- it’s a shame that those in Moose Lake who don’t have means are getting price gouged. At least they have Kwik Trip, Holiday, and Dollar General where they can pick up some groceries at much...
Read moreThese young kids they hire as cashiers need training. The last two Tue. Which is supposed to be senior discount day. got no discount. Today I reminded Willard about it when starting to check out. Checked my receipt on the way out, NO Discount. Went back and ask him about it, he said he forgot to give it to me. He just looked at me, like that’s the way it is. I said “What now”. One of the baggers took me over to the office where there was a girl who knew how to take care of it, and she did. If you’re going to have Senior Discount day, Do it. A few pennies here and there mean a lot to seniors on a limited income. Please get these kids trained. If they can remember to ask you if you want plastic or paper every time, they can remember to give Seniors...
