I have defended this store for years from people complaining about prices here. I understand that they aren't Walmart or Target or any of the giant big box stores, so of course they are higher in price. I expect that and I am happy that we have a local grocery store in Mora as I ALWAYS try to keep my buying local. I like the deli, sushi selections that are always fresh, they bag your groceries and service people are almost always friendly and approachable. I would have rated higher here, but need to air my frustration with the Coborn's gas station across the parking lot. I have for over a year struggled with the issue of 8-10 times of not being able to get a receipt when I fill up there. I need a receipt for my business expenses and more often than not, when I ask for a printed receipt, the receipts are empty. I call the number on the pump as suggested when there's an issue and I have gotten many excuses from "it's too cold outside" (even though other stations still print me a receipt), the pump I am at doesn't have a working printer (I have tried several different pumps with the same result) and last time I called, the girl who answered told me they are supposed to get a signal of some kind in the store alerting them when the receipt is empty, but they don't get the alerts. While I was talking with her, she stopped speaking with me mid sentence and started speaking to someone else in the store and ignored me. I just hung up. They have asked me to drive over to the store, park, come in and get a receipt. I have horribly painful knees and when I ask if they can just take a pic of the receipt and text it to me or email me a receipt, it's deer in headlights. I refuse to deal with the problems at the pump and refuse to be burdened because nobody attends the receipts at the pumps like the other gas stations in Mora. Read moreThis is the first time I visited this store. I give it 2 Stars because of the employees. I wasn't greeted. They'd look @ me. I said Hi & they looked @ me again, ignored me & walked right past me. I came a long way. U had a sign that said if u buy this particular company's cookies, u get 1/2 gallon of milk free. I took my items up to the counter, let the young man know about the sign & he had no clue what I was talking about. He looked completely confused as to what to I was saying & what to do. I told him to ask the mgr. Instead of calling a mgr over, he left the cash register unattended & found someone. They said u have to b a member. I asked how do I become a member, he said I don't know. I bought the cookies & milk. Then, left.
Ur prices r really good, ur shelves r stocked. The aisles r clean & not cluttered. Well lit store. The customer service from the employees was bad. I feel like I'm banned...

We went to get cupcakes for my son to take to school tomorrow after I purchased them I took the bag turned to leave and one of the packages fell from the bag and smashed all over the floor. My son was so bummed as it was the only one like it and the one he had his heart set on. The cashier, bagger and deli associate (all bakery staff had gone for the evening) bent over backwards to find him a replacement package and even redecorated a different package. Everyone of them wished him a happy birthday. They could have just given me one off the shelf that wasnt the design he wanted but a replacement all the same but they went above and beyond to make sure my son felt special when he left. I left the store tonight with a little boy with a huge grin on his face from all the kind birthday wishes and the cool new replacement cupcakes he got and a warm heart from all of thier kindness....
