So, I went in for my umteenth poor experience at this Dairy Queen and it will be my last. I have held off writing anything in the past as I don’t like writing poor reviews, and especially in a small town, but after so many poor experiences with crazy slow service, rarely a smile from staff at the drive thru which is what we have mostly used in the past and getting a simple “thank you” takes an act of Congress, I finally was compelled to write a review after my experience this evening. We pulled up tonight and were one car back from the order speaker. We waited several minutes (which is the norm, and I’ve even had the drive thru teller come on the speaker in the past and ask me to wait when nobody was in line at all), and were finally greeted. The teller asked what we wanted to order. I asked for a small sundae. She came on and asked if I wanted anything else and I asked for a medium sundae too. She came on again and asked if I wanted anything else and I asked if they had any kind of healthy beverages. She says “is that all?” I just skipped request for a healthy drink and said sure. We pull around and get to the window and the girl with dyed red hair and tattoos was in the window. I asked her if I could get a cup of water (since she never addressed my order question). She grumbled something and walked away. She came back and handed me a water and took payment. She hands me a small sundae and closes the window. I motioned her and she looked a bit mad. I said we ordered a small and medium. She said we only ordered a small and she told me she repeated the order to us. Their speaker is not clear to understand at all and hard to hear. I assumed since she paused each time she asked if I wanted anything while I responded, she heard me. Ugh. She said I can order one now. My wife was tired of waiting so long and her missing part of the order and said we’ll go somewhere else. As we drove away, she loudly said “how rude”! I was shocked a service person could be so openly rude. I pulled into a parking space and went in and asked for a manager. The manager looked to be a teenager and was very nice about it, but I don’t think she had the authority to really do anything about someone who has no business being in customer service. She said she would let the owners know. Sorry folks, I just couldn’t let the bad service at this location...
Read moreWe enjoy going to our local Dairy Queen frequently, until July 3rd 2017. Wrong food, cold food but it was busy so we sluffed it off. Then a few days later my daughter and I went in for lunch and again cold food...old burger.. I got the A1 burger with the sauce on the side, because I love to dunk my fries in it. Ok 1st the burger was cold and the chz was hard as if it had been sitting in the air all say, the Patty was old and cold with no bacon. So I flagged a worker over and asked if I could get a hot fresh burger...10 minutes later I got a burger that was so HOT, I couldn't even eat it, with bacon on it and nothing else... The cheese was melted onto the paper because it was so hot. It seemed microwaved for like the whole 10 min it took to get it back and it wasn't even the same burger. I wasn't even rude... Even tho I was extremely upset...so we leave and yesterday my daughter wanted a burger from u and omg, the fries were old and cold so I asked for new ones... U would've thought I shot the kid... It took another 10 min to get new fries with all the rudeness... I am a 54 yr old adult who was a mgr for Hardee's for most of my adult life...heads would roll if that happened on my shifts... a michayla and a Kyle were the doe in the headlights... Also, I had asked about the A1 burger and was told u never had that burger.. drrr, I had just had one a couple days ago.. as it stands right now, I can't see why I would spend money or time at ur place again... Where is the manager or lead lines or supervisor even... No compensation or apology was even given.. nice way to kill ur...
Read moreI'm normally not the type to leave reviews, but the Mora Dairy Queen use to be one of the best DQs around when the last owners owed it. They took pride in there products and there employees. Ever since they sold it, this Dairy Queen is HORRIBLE, I wish I could leave a no star. I use to work at this located years ago in high school, and now when I go to this location my order is NEVER right. It seems as if the new management doesn't take pride in their business. If you go here and they get your order right, let's just say your lucky. I've been here soo many time and keep telling myself to give it another chance. But seriously how hard is it. It's not, all DQs product's have instructions on how to make them! Its not hard, but it seems there employees could care less and seems nor doesn't management. Im in a career where now I talk to alot of people, and when I say where I'm from, people from all over know how horrible this place has become. There's not many fast food options when going thru Mora as you head north so DQ is normally the spot. I wish this new management would take better pride in there business and train there employees better to care about the actual product customers are purchasing as...
