The Historic Totem Village — Local services in Moran Township

Absolutely gorgeous and authentic native American wares, art, clothing, and artifacts. The alpaca wool blankets (which is what I purchased) are so beautiful and soft; very much worth the price. The artwork, pottery, dreamcatchers, headdresses, moccasins, fur hides....all of it was just stunning and of fantastic quality. The staff were incredibly helpful, generous, and informative! Definitely a must-stop spot if traveling into the UP. Only 5min from the bridge too so not at all out of the way no matter what way you're traveling. Highly recommend at least looking around if...

Don’t bother. This guy is waaay overpriced and doesn’t have quality items. I was checking out a rabbit fur hat. It had lost chunks of fur, showed the guy, he said I was wrong, until he began pulling the loose fur from the hat himself. Bought a bone box for my daughter, peeled off the price tag before giving her the gift only to find a label saying “made in India’ I guess this guy doesn’t know the difference between American Natives and people from India. I Definitely don’t feel this was as advertised “native” made items and artwork. I...
