Solara — Local services in Moses Lake

I lived in Solara for a year. Positive: I need to shout out to Patrick; he was accommodating and friendly. The apartments are relatively new, built in 2018. Solid kitchen countertop + ambient lights. Heating and cooling the apartments were done by big AC units and they work pretty good. Common places were pretty clean. Maintenance was helpful and usually fast. Parking is easy. Family friendly, quiet(usually, see comment below), no shady figures about.

Negative: Expensive. They increased my rent by about $250 for 2023. I got a bill for $451.99 as move-out charges other than utilities. I’ve been a renter for years. This is a bit much. Upstairs neighbor kept waking me up at night, their dog would make a lot of noise. There is an automatic gate that opens with personal FOB, but the gate is rarely closed. So there is no point in having a gate. There are no sidewalks to the apartment complex, so you must have a vehicle to travel safely. Half of the time it smells like fertilizer, although this might be a Moses...

Every time I need help, whether a big or small request, I am just treated so kindly! Everyone here shows that they care!

Update 3/11/2025 I continue to love my home! Alina is wonderful to work with and has definitely gone above and beyond to help me with things that come up when you have no family in the area. I’ve been here three years and they have always been kind, caring and very fast to respond! Maks is the kindest person I’ve ever met and he seems to know how to fix anything that might need it. We moved in two weeks ago with the help of Alina. From the start she was amazing to us she help me with everything and she was pretty fast. Now in days it’s hard to find ppl that actually love what they do and she’s amazing. Super helpful and very kind and amazing with kids too. I love that they keep clean around the complex and neighbors are actually amazing. My son loves his room pretty big for a 2 year old boy but his loving it. And for the master bedroom if you are a girl that loves mirrors you are sure going to love the closet door.
