The school district is largely garbage. There no tolerance policy for bullying is a joke! They don't care AT ALL! More often than not the bully will get a pass especially if they have any type of problem. I was told that by Midway elementary "she has problems" that does NOT justify the abuse she put my daughter through. My daughter was told to kill herself FOR WEEKS by the same bully she had for years, and her friends, the school did NOTHING until I came there myself and demanded something be done, lazy people that wait for an angry parent before they do anything, absolutely disgusting. She had to be out on antidepressants! We have moved and she is doing much better now. My autistic son was even shoved to the ground and punched but he "wasn't being bullied", seriously?

The only reason this gets more than a 1 star is for some of the actual amazing teachers I have met that put their all into teaching and...

They laid off almost 300 people because they can’t keep their finances in check, don’t maintain financial transparency, and the school board is full of people with their own sick agendas. Those who weren’t laid off got their hours cut to 6.5/day so that the school district doesn’t have to pay for benefits. They are abandoning their students who desperately need help on core subjects. They’re passing students along who aren’t ready to move onto the next class/grade level. They don’t handle student misbehavior appropriately, and they can’t seem to get a handle on the chronic absence issues or the cell phone issues. Administrators do NOT back up teachers when it comes to disciplining students or advocating for students. Parents will always have their feet kissed by admin at the expense of a teacher who is attempting to appropriately discipline...

The Administration cares nothing for the students, there is too many children bringing guns into the schools, and the staff vehemently denies it. The High School constantly doesn't serve lunch, and when they do, the food is moldy, and expired. The schools on the Base are even worse. Lead paint, abusive teachers, no consequences for bullies, and the staff treat parents like criminals. It's better to homeschool, rather than your children be put through this...
